Hello, at the beginning I would like to point out that I know that a similar topic was raised 3 years ago in the forum, but it was not resolved.

I have an HDMI cable plastered in the wall, unfortunately the plug has failed. I decided to order the so-called HDMI Terminal Connector from China:

and fix the plug in more or less according to the guide I found on youtube, i.e.

The problem is that the plug does not work even though I called the cables one after the other and it should match. After stripping the insulation, it turned out that the wires were grouped into smaller groups wrapped in a screen. I have 4 of these groups as if I had ground wires, but I don't know what about them. Because each of them called 4 pins. What should you do with them or what could go wrong at all? First, I plugged them in the remaining 4 pins, each in a different one, then I unplugged them completely and are loose but it still doesn't work anyway. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

And why didn't you buy one? demountable plug ? The effect would definitely be better. Another patent is cutting the finished cable and soldering. This terminator is one of the most bad solutions.
Some use DVi detachable plugs and a DVI / HDMI adapter.

I was looking for different solutions and it seemed good to me. Whatever the case, in my opinion and the instructional film should work. And yet it doesn't detect the projector. So somewhere there is a problem.

The use of a DVI socket and a DVI / HDMI adapter is just one option, sometimes useful if you also use devices with a DVI output. In addition, DVI is easier to mount in a wall panel as a socket, which definitely excludes damage to flush-mounted cables on a bend.
