I have the following dilemma and problem,
I have a plastered channel in the wall where I can insert a maximum cable with a thickness of 8 mm, it goes out about 1.5 m further.
I would like to run the HDMI cable through this tray and now there is a problem with the end that will not pass through this tray.
I have two concepts, but I don't know which one is simpler and more reliable.
1. Buying an original HDMI cable from 3-5 m - cutting it, leading it through the tray and then soldering and insulating each cable (only here I do not know what to do with these different screen foils and the mesh - the braid) - both original plugs remain and surely easier solder.
2.purchasing a dismantleable plug and at the end of the cut cable, solder the plug according to the diagram - here you would have to buy a plug (preferably twisted, metal) - and solder thoroughly so that there is no short circuit anywhere and the right colors are in the right places
3.Buy, for example, https://d.allegroimg.com/s400/0111c9/ed2e004c49318b6fa094ef90576d unfold this box and solder the wires to some PCBs there?
Is there any other option? Which one is faster, better, more reliable?
Thank you in advance for the advice, I have never dealt with HDMI cables when it comes to repairs or modifications.
