Hello . I have daytime running lights (2 wires) and I would like to ask how to connect them under the relay so that the ignition will turn on when the ignition is turned on and go out when the parking jacks are turned on. I would like to connect daytime running lights with LEDs instead of halogen lights (because the car has the function of going home, and it lights up the halogens)

below schamet about which I would like to add to how to connect it

What car? Because that's how we can do it.
For example, I'm telling you that you can connect to a lighter socket, then the circuit will be well protected. Provided that the power of the socket is after the ignition (only in old cars it was all the time).
Haogens are a kind of filaments, not reflectors, so please specify.

So probably Fiat. Plus to the KL15 ground clamps for powering the pitbons. How LED should work. Otherwise you will have to give a relay.

You will need a car relay - the coil is contacts No. 85 and 86, the NO contacts are 30 and 87. Up to 30 you connect plus eg from the battery through the fuse !!! - plus this one has to be all the time. You connect one of the daytime running light wires to 87, the second one from the lights you connect to ground - minus. Up to 85 you connect plus the ignition switch and up to 86 connect to the bulb of parking lights where there is a plus. It's so fast without interfering with the halogens, which shines with no changes.

If the bulb is burning, the system will stop working.

I am asking you to draw a diagram on how to connect it. It is also about the fact that the daytime running lights go out after switching on the parking lights. After switching on the fog lights, daytime running lights were also on
Do you need to use directional diodes here?

There are also new ones. Unless you have a three-year car for you, this is old age. For example, Nissan Navara which I move at work.

The daytime driving lights of good visibility and the fog lamps shall not be used in conditions of good visibility.
In addition, the fog lights may only be switched on after switching on the position lights, which when switched on will turn off the daytime running lights.
It's best to buy yourself for PLN 20 at the allegro slot machine.

Insert the scheme of your car, it will draw you where you need to connect.

The topic is basically exhausted. So why do not you act?

from the program "101 repairs" on TVN Turbo I know that:
1.) until year 2008, daytime running lights are burning TOGETHER with parking lights!
2.) since year 2009 = no longer have to!

@leotdipl take a look at the recipes. And you do not quote programs.
Because you do not know anything.

gentlemen, I think you do not understand something here ....
I had an original bumper and there were halogens. Now I replaced the bumper with a different one and in exchange halogen are fitted daytime running lights. In the previous bumper, the halogens were performing functions (answering home), so they shone for 10 seconds. after closing the door

Now she wants to connect the daytime lights to make them glow after switching on the ignition and turn off when the parking lights are turned on.
But I also want the day lights to light up for the 10 seconds. after closing the door (that is, the function goes to the house)

Not so much as they do not have to and can not. Either you drive on SAME daytime running lights or switch on normal lights.

So as not to set up a new topic, what are the suggestions for daytime running lights for the Skoda Octavia 2 combi from 2007? And maybe some small schematic, please :)

Pursuant to the ordinance of 4 May 2009 (Journal of Laws No. 75/2009, item 639), currently rear position lamps, front, side and rear end-outline marker lamps as well as license plate lighting must not be switched on together with daytime running lamps. . The above provision applies to vehicles registered for the first time after December 31, 2009. This means, however, that in cars registered up to December 31, 2009, daytime running lights may illuminate together with others. However, when registering after January 1, 2010, such lights may only be lit at the front.

So you still need two diodes to do it.
In addition to what I wrote.

Diode D1 I do not know if it is needed, but it certainly will not hurt. I do not know how strong these lights, choose a diode with a reserve and a large one.
This relay is at the top just to not load the ignition switch.

It would have to burn all the parking lots. ;)

As it has separate control of each bulb separately, this one is enough.
And we do not know how the light bulb control system reacts to such a connection.
It is not known what kind of car it is, but probably quite new since it has radiation, there may be various surprises :) .

Mine is not quite new, because rather rather old (1999) and has illumination.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting daytime running lights (DRLs) with two wires to the ignition system of a vehicle, ensuring they turn on with the ignition and turn off when the parking lights are activated. Users suggest using a relay to manage the connection, with specific wiring instructions provided. The relay's coil should connect to the ignition switch, while the DRLs connect to the battery through a fuse. Diodes may be necessary to prevent backflow and ensure proper functionality. The conversation also touches on legal regulations regarding DRL usage in relation to parking lights, and the need for a schematic diagram for clarity. Various vehicle brands and models are mentioned, including Fiat and Nissan Navara, with a request for recommendations for Skoda Octavia 2.
