The battery was not used for a long time but I charged it, the apparatus seems to be working because when the remote control's link with the drone responds to the attempt to connect but fails to go into standby mode
    I tried to do resets.

LiPo battery in most cases after long storage without recharging,
it will lose its capacity and voltage rather scrap,
    check the voltage after charging.

Drones have several safeguards against taking off an inoperative drone.

If the controller (only original, others do not match) pair and the drone does not move, then there may be something with the drone.
A drone purchased without a remote control will probably "find". It is not known how long he lay and in what state he was and what he went through.
There may be damaged power supply, electronics as well as motors or their regulators.
You won't do much without a complete diagnosis.

Generally, no opportunity, and given that the Syma X5C costs a new approx. PLN 240, a complete repair of such a "drone" can cost more than a new drone and may not bring the expected results. All in all, to make sure everything works:

    New package - 50 PLN
    Engines set - PLN 80
    Control board - PLN 50

And we already have over 3/4 of the drone's price.
I don't know how much you gave, but with the transmitter, it already exceeds PLN 200.

In Syma, the engines are very suspicious because they are of poor quality and have a very short lifetime. It's enough for the drone to work for a while with the propeller locked and the meatball locked. If the drone lay for a long time (it is not known what passed), the battery will almost certainly need to be replaced. If in addition resembles a "pillow" is swollen and rounded, it is for recycling. Remember, these batteries must not be thrown in the trash (not only poisons the environment but there is a risk of a serious fire), you only have to take them (for free) to the nearest waste disposal point.

If you exclude the packet and engines, it remains shallow. there are, among others, engine regulators. The board is made in SMD technology and without proper equipment it cannot be repaired. There is also a problem with finding substitutes for Chinese elements on it, bearing markings different from European and Western standards.

If you do everything according to the procedure and you have the original transmitter (we do not know what you bought), then I would suggest taking the drone to the service in order to diagnose problems and repair pricing. There are some websites dealing with drones in Poland.

PS - make sure that during the start procedure, you have the throttle stick in the minimum position - at the very bottom, and the trimmers (zippers on the sticks) are in the middle.
With the gas attached, the drone will not move - it's one of the protections.
