    Hello, Opel Insignia 2.0 118kW 2011 The cigarette lighter socket does not work, I do not have electricity on the thick purple wire, weight and backlight. The second socket is in the armrest at the back and works. Fuses approx.

    As far as I remember, there are two fuses. Replace with other fuses, sometimes they will burn out of sight.

    F6 Plug socket 12 V 20A / Cigarette lighter 20A (it does not work);
    F7 12 V 20A plug socket (in armrest)

    I swapped them and the armrest is still lit and the lighter is silent.

    You need to check if there is voltage on the fuse from the inoperative socket. If it is, check the cubes under the fuse box. I used to have a damaged connector in one.
