From today I have such a box from Orange and everything works fine, but I can't change the name of the wifi network, the password changes without a problem and after entering the new wifi name, despite approval, nothing changes.

Someone has encountered a similar problem, the firmware box is the latest, I tried on 3 different browsers.

Some devices will not accept special characters such as ""; "_" etc.
Try without special characters using at most "-" without spaces, semicolons, etc.

And do not use "Polish" letters, i.e. those with "petioles" ą, ć, ę ...

I don't have special characters or Polish letters in the name, no matter what I type in, it's not accepted.

Try changing the SSID from a computer connected via LAN instead of wifi. Maybe here is the problem.

I am connected via LAN all the time. Even when entering from the phone is the same, after confirming the info "SSID is incorrect"

    On the website: http://www.orange.pl/kid,4000377334,id,4003345984,title,Platna-asysta-techniczna,article.html
    There is info:
    Technical Assistance
If you were unable to solve the technical problem yourself and need help launching Neostrada or landline service packages (FunPack HD, Neostrada with TV, Neostrada with Unlimited Calls), you can order assistance from a service technician in your home.
Basic installation assistance for the Internet, TV and telephone is now free of charge and includes:

    modem and decoder installation
Internet access configuration on a maximum of 3 Customer devices (computer, tablet, phone), provided that they have licensed software and after the Customer's written consent
registration and launch of Internet access and TV services
configuration of the telephone purchased in the package with Neostrada (HD telephone, Neofon or Internet Telephony).
    ...
Installation assistance can be ordered by calling the 510 100 100 hotline or in the Orange salon.

    Maybe take advantage of this.

Technicians who today brought a new contract and equipment after a telephone contact said that such things like changing the name of the network do not do. They are for the correct configuration and proper operation and in this case everything works fine. :D

If I think of nothing, it will stay that way, but I got used to it a little bit, that the network was called just like my company.

There is still such advice, but I do not know if it will work for you. I used to do that with an old Pirelli router. Save the current configuration file, if the created file is readable to you (that is, they are not "bushes" but a text file "), it is enough to find a section with the SSID name that you want to change and simply change it from the level of e.g. a notebook .
But if the file saves the configuration file using "bushes" then this method is useless

it should change without a problem, reset with current and if it doesn't help to the funbox factory.
Or connect your router to the funbox and manage the entire network on it.
What is Neostrada's option? What technology

Good idea, the file is readable in the notebook, but is encrypted and visible as a string of letters and numbers:

    Neostrada 80 adsl.

This is not a solution, because I have a second router connected in another room and I have another network name there, and here I need a different funbox.

Operators block some functions so that users do not mix up anything. If this modem has this option, it is probably blocked.
When it comes to changing the network name, it looks like a firmware bug and should be reported to the operator.

In the first funboxes, in fact, such a problem occurred and it was enough to do the update, but I have the latest firmware and you can not do anything with it.

I don't know how I missed it. Every time I put a space and this was a mistake and it was enough to give the underscore.

    Thank you.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing difficulties changing the WiFi network name (SSID) on a Sagemcom Funbox provided by Orange. Despite successfully changing the password, attempts to modify the SSID result in an error message stating "SSID is incorrect." Various suggestions are provided, including avoiding special characters and Polish letters, using a LAN connection instead of WiFi, and checking for firmware issues. Some responses indicate that certain functions may be blocked by the operator, and it is suggested to contact technical support for further assistance. Ultimately, the user discovers that the issue was due to inadvertently including a space in the SSID, which was resolved by using an underscore instead.
