    Hello,

I have a problem with my MG5650 with jam code 1303. The problem is that no paper is jammed. At the last attempt to print, immediately after switching on, this message was displayed and the printer did not even pick up the paper and the previously printed pages were whole. I looked through it as much as I could without unscrewing it and you can't see the paper and the only thing I'm not sure is the yellow substance in the attached photo visible at the edge of the roll feeding the printed paper. Maybe it's some lubricant, I don't know, I don't know myself :)
I've already tried blowing it with compressed air, and not even a tiny crumb fell out.

I am asking for help and thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Check that the encoder ribbon behind the carriage is clean, see if the ink carriage is moving, and that nothing is blocking it. Preferably on the open flap to replace the carcass, the sensor from it should be on the left side, put something there and it should detect that it is closed. Thanks to this, you will see suspicious movements of the ambulance.

The tape appears clean. I can move the carriage with carcasses about 3 cm, then it gives more resistance so I don't pull harder. At the very start-up, a maximum of 5 cm moves.

There is nothing inside, so I will have to give it to a professional.

    But thanks for your help.
