    Welcome,

I have a 6000 error in the Canon Pixma Ip7250 printer, but when I take it apart I can't see any leftover paper. I recorded a movie about how an ambulance behaves.

Can you advise on what the problem is?

    Regards.

You can see that the ambulance cannot change its position freely. Probably the cleaning module is blocking it, check it.

Thank you. Which cleaning module is it?

I was a bit wrong, the cleaning module is on the other side. And when you take out the carcasses, nothing lies there. Can the carriage be moved manually? Check strip encoder for dirt.

The 6000 code indicates a service error due to a hardware failure in the printer. The failure is related to the rotation of the feed rollers.

I can move it by hand without any problems and after removing the carcass there is unfortunately nothing. It was my first clue that there were scrap paper somewhere, but nothing I found. : / I can also rotate the rollers manually.

The correct carriage position is the right side of the printer. When you move the carriage to the right to the maximum, then how does the carriage behave, how do you turn on the printer? Is the printer main roller spinning generally?

I moved the carriage maximally to the right and when the printer is turned on, the carriage goes inside and the orange LED starts blinking alternately with white and an error of 6000 appears.

Apart from moving the ambulance, what else did you do?

I cleaned it with acetone, removed some dirt, but unfortunately it did not help.

What did you clean with the acetone-encoder?

Very bad - I'm afraid that only the exchange is left for a new one. On each of them there are such small and thin lines, they are used to determine the location of given elements, e.g. head, rollers. If they are missing then the printer is stupid. Then clean without damaging them.

Thank you for your help, so you will have to throw it in the dustbin. : /

Maybe buy a printer with a damaged head and change yours. Such a printer is a low purchase cost. For a few zlotys you can have a working printer.

I have the same pale. The printer was printing at a certain phase. The carriage reaches half its course and stands as if something is blocking it. And I can't figure out what's going on. Anyone can help? Two LEDs are blinking alternately or two blinks and alternating with a bright one afterwards the bright one burns for a moment and then everything from the beginning.

I will describe my case with error 6000 in the Canon TS6251 printer (the construction is a bit different but very similar and the principle of operation is the same). After switching on, the ambulance drove left - right and tried to park in the service station (which you can see that it was working - it was rising, etc.) but after a while it was throwing error 6000. I dismantled the entire station and it turned out that the cause was a clog of dried black ink (pigment ), which was seeping onto the drive mechanism of the gears that move the station from the very bottom, it was not visible from above. After cleaning, lubricating and reassembling it works properly. Generally, a very tedious, difficult and long repair (the first time I disassembled the station in this model - you have to dismantle most of the printer).

Topic summary

The Canon Pixma IP7250 printer is experiencing a 6000 error, indicating a service error related to hardware failure, particularly involving the feed rollers. Users suggest checking the cleaning module and encoder strip for dirt or blockages. The carriage can be moved manually, but if it does not return to the correct position or if the main roller does not spin, further issues may arise. Cleaning with acetone has been advised against, as it can damage the encoder, leading to further malfunction. In some cases, users have resolved similar issues by cleaning dried ink from the drive mechanism. If repairs are unsuccessful, replacing the printer or acquiring a damaged unit for parts is recommended.
