Removing BIOS Password on HP EliteBook 8440P After Disconnecting Motherboard Batteries

I turned to HP for help in removing the password, after completing all procedures (ID card photocopy, hardware user's statement, photo of the "system information" tab available after pressing the F1 button during the POST phase), in return e-mail I received the SMC.BIN file using whose password from the BIOS should be removed.

I tried to run a file from a USB stick, which I placed in the USB socket, unfortunately the file did not work in Bios, the message SMC comand failue popped up, I also checked if the file would run from the root directory of the D: HP_TOOLS partition, suming up on the first attempt I was unable to remove the password.
