Hello, in my Clio II ph 2 2001 gasoline 75 hp, 55 kW when driving straight ahead something squeaks, as if wiping from the front on the left. Such a rubber sound. You can also hear it when turning. However, at speeds over 30 km / h, the sound is lost. Until then, the sound frequency accelerates and stops at a higher speed. A sound like rubbing gum on my teeth. The question is, can the pads squeak without braking? During normal forward driving? In principle, when braking, the bigger or smaller sound does not change. I have new tires, changed to new ones before the season. I replaced pads and shields a month ago. Whether on the run or at ease is the same. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would check the bearing, possibly if something protrudes from the wheel arch - except that here, depending on which part of the wheel arch was rubbing, the sound should change significantly when turning.
As for the brakes - check that the disc does not heat up too much. It would be more like some rubbish but it would quickly wipe it off.

Today I had more time, so I picked up the car and turned the wheel. In fact, on both sides it is like that, in the video right wheel, there is such a tickling:

+ on the left wheel it additionally brakes slightly like I'm spinning.

    Joint, placenta?

We have a problem (with a workshop) in ordering bearings with a right half-axle (it turned out to be a common element), all of which have come to the workshop so far have turned out to be too short by a few cm. What the picture has a length of ~ 745 mm. I can't find anything about these lengths on the Allegro. Visually also as if they were different. I am asking for help, maybe someone has an idea where to look for it. The VIN also came too short. Clio II 2001 after lifetime gasoline 75 HP / 55kW

my mechanist also cursed me a "klijówke" when replacing the drive shaft ... he mentioned that there was probably a transplant and they folded the drive shaft from Kangoo !!!

That's exactly how it is. It fits perfectly with Kangoo half-shafts. My mechanic spread his hands and I had to search on my own. And just from Kangoo it fits and is identical to the one that they took. Silence after exchange.
