I used to have this gauge. Do not hesitate to ask, and by the way, this meter only has DVBS without S2, so you will not set it in HD transponders because it cannot see them. It is a very old piece of equipment and rather unusable nowadays.
Do you want a meter for a single antenna alignment or from time to time to correct your own antenna or a meter for professional work with TVSAT? If it's the former, the Trimax TM-8500 is probably the cheapest option right now. If the latter, the range of PLN 500-1000 would have to be multiplied by several.
And I apologize for the earlier post. I have not followed the prices of meters for a long time. Today I took a peek out of curiosity and I see that some news appeared and it was all a lot cheaper.
A colleague will read about: - Megasat HD3 Compact (PLN 429) - Spacetronik HW6180 (PLN 499) - Deviser S30 (PLN 650) - Digitsat PCM-1210 (799 PLN) - SatLink WS6933 mentioned by a friend (PLN 329)
They all support DVB-S2 and the one for PLN 799 also has terrestrial T2 and cable C. Only 2.3 years ago there were not so many S2 meters for the price of Mon. 550-600 PLN There was Trimax TM8500 for about PLN 350-400, the weight of meters from PLN 380 to PLN 700 with only S1 and only from 800 with a hook the S2 began. The standard was PLN 900-1200 for some cheap HDSM Horizons. I can see that a lot has changed.
Looking at Satlinek how it works, I completely change my opinion about the Trimax TM8500:
There is BER, S / N and PWR, which are the basics for an amateur, but if I had to choose, I would choose Spacetronic for PLN 499. Why? C / N (dB), PWR (dBuV, dBm), MER (dB) and BER + memory for as many as 4,000 transponders. You can easily understand several satellites + transponders for individual platforms. For example: trimax TM8500 has only 15 and you often have to enter a new TP from the notebook on the roof.
Like in a kaleidoscope Satlinka on Ali can be bought for about PLN 150.
This is normal, buddy. As a matter of principle, I do not look at Ali and others in order not to be nervous. Europe lives from this. buy from a Chinese for PLN 150, sell from us for two or three times as much. It was, is and always will be.
Hello, I used to update my WS-6933 satlink (the first one - with a monochrome LCD) and it works without any problems. After a few years of use, I wanted to load the transponder list via sat edit and here was the problem. The device has a closed port. I used to update the firmware and now it's even Polish. Meanwhile, there is no communication with the device. Do you have any ideas?
