And I apologize for the earlier post. I have not followed the prices of meters for a long time. Today I took a peek out of curiosity and I see that some news appeared and it was all a lot cheaper.
A colleague will read about:
- Megasat HD3 Compact (PLN 429)
- Spacetronik HW6180 (PLN 499)
- Deviser S30 (PLN 650)
- Digitsat PCM-1210 (799 PLN)
- SatLink WS6933 mentioned by a friend (PLN 329)
They all support DVB-S2 and the one for PLN 799 also has terrestrial T2 and cable C.
Only 2.3 years ago there were not so many S2 meters for the price of Mon. 550-600 PLN
There was Trimax TM8500 for about PLN 350-400, the weight of meters from PLN 380 to PLN 700 with only S1 and only from 800 with a hook the S2 began. The standard was PLN 900-1200 for some cheap HDSM Horizons. I can see that a lot has changed.
Looking at Satlinek how it works, I completely change my opinion about the Trimax TM8500:
There is BER, S / N and PWR, which are the basics for an amateur, but if I had to choose, I would choose Spacetronic for PLN 499. Why?
C / N (dB), PWR (dBuV, dBm),
MER (dB) and BER + memory for
as many as 4,000 transponders. You can easily understand several satellites + transponders for individual platforms. For example: trimax TM8500 has only 15 and you often have to enter a new TP from the notebook on the roof.
