    Hello.
Samsung UE46ES6710 TV does not start up.
The standby LED is still on (as always), when I want to turn on the TV, the LED blinks 5x and then I hear a double pop in the upper right corner (looking from the back of the TV). What could be the reason?? Where can I start?

I suspect it's best to start by remembering where nearby RTV services are located.

I live in Luxembourg and there are no such websites here. In August I am going to Poland and I do not know if it is worth taking it with me because it will take some places in the car.
I have an even older Samsung UE40ES5500 model, maybe I can replace something to find a damaged element.

    No, you can't replace anything.
It remains to pack it and bring it to repair.

However, if you show that you catch at least a little electronics, you can measure, you have basic tools - soldering iron, multimeter - then you can at least approximately determine what may be damaged.
But I'm afraid you'll mess up more than repair it once you get it up and running. ;)

You want to crank it up, disconnect the main board, disconnect the T-con and turn on the TV.

Ok, I will disconnect these systems and write what came out of it.
I would rather find the damaged item on the spot and order it than lug the TV back and forth.
    Thanks :)

After disconnecting all tapes and cables from the board (photo 1.), the entire matrix lights up
After disconnecting only the tape (photo 2.) nothing changes, which is like in the first post.

Read the motherboard name carefully, probably BN94-05898x xxx, look for it, buy it, it should work.
So my grandmother was foretelling for two, although I estimate the chances at much more than half and half. ;)

the board is BN94-05898N in addition to it, there is a power supply and the one at the bottom in the middle, the chances of hitting are high :)

I would like to add that it is enough to disconnect only the cable that connects the power supply to the BN94-05898N board and the LCD matrix is turned on.

You have a good power supply, and this plate is at the bottom. Rather. ;)
That's why I asked for a simple test.

Ok, then I'm looking for a CD in PL or on ebay.
I will let you know after the exchange.
Thanks a lot and best regards

I have a question about the motherboard, mine has the designations BN94-05898N and I found BN94-05898J has a different ending, I have "N" in my own and here is "J".
Can I buy such a CD and use it in my TV ??
