    Hello,
    I have a problem with the PARKSIDE PKO 400 B2, 50l, 2.4 kW compressor:
after about 30 minutes of work with interruptions while pumping air, the engine made a strange sound and stopped pumping.
I tried to disconnect and connect to the network several times - to no avail.
After a few hours break, it still does not start.
    It makes no sound.

The compressor is no longer under warranty.
It has been used sporadically so far.

I am asking for help what may be the reason of failure.
    Thanks.

There are no fairies in the forum.
There is a lot to check: power supply, control, motor itself.

    Hello.
First, check whether power is supplied to the pressure switch (pressure switch), then whether the air is turned on (if the contacts are shorting), and the motor is energized. If so, the motor winding should be measured for winding breaks.

Check if you have a thermic reset button on the engine. I met with one in another compressor. The motor itself, if there is no breakdown to the housing or a break in the windings, you can power it for a short time, bypassing the pressure switch. If you move you can be sure that the pressure switch is damaged. Just don't use it in such a way, because you will make a bauble ;) .
