    Hello!

I bought an Elektra Beckum lp 325/10/40 oil compressor last year.
Old, German equipment from good times - year 1986. Today's EB is Metabo.

ELEKTRA BECKUM LP 325/10/40 - Two-stroke oil compressor - spits oil with water.

After two compressors from Juli and Castorama (Meec 750 and some other rice), which died immediately after the end of the warranty and are irreparable, I was instructed not to buy Chinese food, but better to buy an old compressor from the 80s, such a "gniotsa not a break", in which everything can be dismantled and repaired.
A friend said something about Polish VANs, but with a maximum budget of PLN 700, - I didn't even get scrap ... ;-)

A friend of painters persuaded me to choose Elektra Beckum. He said he used it for twenty years and it was always great. Apparently indestructible ... ;-)
So I bought one after a long market. Well, after a year of use, he began to spit oil. I did not notice any significant wear ...!
There is a lot of water in the baniak and there is oil in it too.
I also noticed that after loading the cylinder and disconnecting the pressure switch, the compressor seems to move back slightly and the pressure on the pressure gauge drops from 9 bar to 8 bar. Slow but coming down. After a long standstill, the pressure drops to 4 bar. still no ...
So far, it did not bother me, but now I have a little varnishing and I do not want oil in the varnish ...
Besides, this compressor always spat out water. Despite the fact that it is poured (and it produces a lot of it!), Every dozen or so days, the water bottle has a few liters of water with oil slime floating on it.
From the questions so far here and there, I know that the piston rings have probably run out. (???) maybe valves ... ??

    So the question is:

Does anyone know this type of compressor and know what the rings should be there ..?

I warn you that you have to dismantle and check ... I know it was the easiest way, but I am doing a car tinsmith now and I need a compressor for pneumatic tools. When I undress - I'm standing with work ...
That's why I hope that maybe someone knows what's inside without taking it apart ...

    Additional question ...

If the repair of this compressor turned out to be impossible or expensive, can any other compressor be mounted to this set (2.2 kW motor)? If so, what do you recommend (at some normal price) ..?

Compressor from ursus C 330. I have a 1.5 kw engine. Put on an oil separator from a tractor, eg.

What is the efficiency of such a compressor? So I saw them quickly for about 700 PLN (there were no technical data :( ) Is it worth it? Is it so durable?

I gave so much for her. Exactly 650.
I can't afford more expensive ones, but if I knew that I would get quinol twice, maybe I could put it together ... but how ... it's hard without work. I would take something in installments, because I have a tram walkway, but I can't, because a Negro. Nobody will give a loan.
Above all, I wanted something that could be dismantled, repaired, added, etc ... and it is made of metal and not shit like Chinese.
Polish VANs, etc., were beyond my financial reach and when I saw that it was West Germany, I did not think about it. Apparently, the choice is good, but bad luck haunts me ... ;-)

I am slowly looking for something sensible with a tank> = 100l. So that it does not turn on often (noise).
Prices are high. And the idea of assembling from parts comes up. But here it is also not rosy ... when you don't have anything in stock anymore. The only plus is then the knowledge of the compressor, which can be repaired in the future.
But will the samoróbki on components, for example from Ursus, not be more pradożerny (per liter of air)? Each hour of operation of such a compressor is, for example, PLN 1.2. 1000h is already PLN 1200 ...
