On firefox 54 in Ubuntu 16.04 it works normally. I didn't install anything extra for watching movies etc. What distribution do you use?

On Xubuntu 16.04 I also work normally, but here on a laptop I have Fedore 26 and it is possible that I still need to install Pepper-Flash somehow.

I solved the problem, did as on this page and removed the ~ / .config / chromium directory
