    Hello guys

I got out of bed and started the computer. I wanted to play my favorite game "Metro 2033 Redux", so I click on the icon, the game is loading and I was about to click "Continue" and here the computer reset (I had an afterburner for temperature control and a bit changed the work of the vet). After the reset, there is no image and the fan is walking like an F-16 jet. She worked at an average of 70 ° C.
The steps I took are: blow everything with compressed air, take apart the power supply, clean it and check the capacitors, remove the graphics card cooling to smell the burn and look at the card in general. Anyone have any idea what hurts him?

Graphics card to be checked in another computer, power supply voltage to be measured with a meter. Is it in the speaker housing? Does it make any sounds? Did you overclock your CPU or graphics card?

The motherboard has a built-in speaker, but it does not squeak or the graphics card drowns it out. It was done on this and that, but that the machine has been working on factory timings for several months, but I found his suspect, namely the ATX 12V 2x plug has two pins as if burnt No Picture & Video Card Fan Max Speed: Metro 2033 Redux, MSI N550GTX-Ti, Chieftec GPS 400AA 101A No Picture & Video Card Fan Max Speed: Metro 2033 Redux, MSI N550GTX-Ti, Chieftec GPS 400AA 101A

It's a fact, it doesn't look very good. If you have any old broken power supply, I would be tempted to replace this plug. Do not use this power supply with this plug anymore, maybe you have a replacement power supply? What does the socket on the motherboard look like?

The problem here is the power supply to the CPU, the motherboard won't start unless the CPU starts. I would exclude the graphics card for now.

So it could be this plug? Do you suggest buying a new power supply or transplanting the tip because I have one?

I do not know what the Author was up to the GPU rotation, but one could pull the other.
Of course, I did not read that the photo shows the ATX plug, not PEG.
If the overvoltage came from the GPU it could damage the GPU and the board.
If not, you must take into account damage to the motherboard.

First, measure the voltage from the power supply (the guide is available on the forum) by firing it briefly. If in doubt, do not connect this PSU at all.

As I wrote, the motherboard probably burned out.

At 85%, it is the cause of failure, if you have such a plug and minimum manual skills, you can replace it. Insulate the joints well. Start the power supply "briefly" and check the voltage with a tester if you have one. Nothing needed to burn, maybe it's just a lack of good contact. It is worth checking the socket on the motherboard, it can gently clean the pins to avoid another failure.

The plug was to blame, but there is one problem, I do not know what to do next No Picture & Video Card Fan Max Speed: Metro 2033 Redux, MSI N550GTX-Ti, Chieftec GPS 400AA 101A

Restore default settings, or select 2 "Last known ...", check the date and time, save the settings and it should be OK.

And whether to solder these cables now? Can I play now?

If you solder, it will be a more secure connection, but if they are well bolted and insulated, it shouldn't be a problem. Push the plugs firmly in place so that history does not repeat itself.
