Hello, I have had a damp under the doormat for some time.
Initially, I thought that the water from the doormat spilled out, but today, on the occasion that it is raining, I decided to check where it was coming from. And I found it.
Photo with marked place in the attachment.
Anyone have an idea where to look for a leak under the hood? Corsa C - Water Leak at Accelerator Pedal: Damp Doormat, Leak Source & Under Hood Search

Where there is little water in the battery and it flows out straight down.
But I can see that the cabin filter is slightly damp and water is coming from somewhere on it and I think it should be dry

And where exactly do you have the cabin filter? Is this place in the picture the only place where the water flows or the water flows from a higher place?

Examine the sheet metal (fastening) in the bulkhead wall under the master cylinder and servo. You can pour water gently and then see from the inside if it gets wet.

    Standard leak under the service.

It also seems to me that it is leaking somewhere under the serve. Where exactly to look for leaks?
Can you somehow seal the place under the servo without removing the pump?

    The servo must be unscrewed.

Hello, I disassembled everything, cut out the old gasket and glued it with roofing silicone. I put everything back together and screwed it up pretty badly.
And now I have a question.
I noticed when I have the engine turned off (and therefore the power steering does not work) and I press the brake with my foot, at first glance it looks as if the servo was not tightened (it moves slightly).
It seems to me that everything is tightly twisted and this is due to the bending of the sheet metal at the servo mounting point. Not much, but it shows.
Could someone check at home if this is how the sheet works there? :)

Hello, I also have a problem in the corsie c, the sponge leaks behind the brake pedal, it is wet and it flies onto the carpet. I located the problem today and haven't done anything yet. I am already reading a bit and I read that the first is to unscrew the fuse box in the shaft. Anyone else suggest something? I had the same. Probably the seal is leaking from the connection with the body of the element to which the power steering is bolted
It has the consistency of plasticine / chewing gum. A bit of putrid muck will collect there and after a while a small hole is formed through which water flows through.
I removed this mass and glued it with a sealing compound for roofs. Since then, it's been dry under the rug.
And earlier it was flowing so that even when pouring water from a bucket, you could see a stream at the brake :D

Overall, it is a bit of work and you have to be careful not to bend the brake hoses in any way so as not to weaken them. (need to disconnect the master cylinder from the power steering)

There are demonstrative videos on the internet. :)
However, if someone has such a problem and does not know how to do it, I recommend going to someone who knows you, because safety is the most important thing.

So I have to unscrew the whole cowl and there is the black round one where the booster is screwed, and seal everything under the servo. Plus, clean the entire casing and channels of muck from dirt because you will know a lot of it.

    Just like in the video:

After this operation, you dried, took out the floor and dried the sponge? Because I have water on the floor, but not a lot behind the driver, I also have wet at one point. If there is not a lot of water, then after sealing, as the water will not fly, the floor will dry itself.

-that is, what to buy roofing silicone exactly what? or a sealing compound for roofs in a tube?

    @ wikara23 exactly
I don't remember what exactly I bought anymore. I only remember that I also had doubts about what to buy and bought some ordinary black sealant which said that it is for metal roofs and is resistant to weather conditions. :)

I unscrewed the plastics around and, putting my hand under the rug, chose the water with a cloth (there was a lot of water under the rug. I wrung as much as I could.
Then I blown warm air while holding the farelka and let it dry a little. I myself don't think it will dry up that fast :) There may be half a liter of water there.

Tomorrow I start my work, I will try not to spoil anything and to get it right :D additionally I will fix it under the washer tank, and the can, where the gasket with the controller at the pit.

As for drying, I think I will fire the farelke and dry, and if I can, I will also disassemble the floor as much as I can and wipe it off.
