Lenovo laptop, win10 system, Elan smart pad touchpad, elan touchpad version 11.4.96.1_x64_whql

The problem is as follows: I have problems when, for example, I want to select some text by double-clicking with the touchpad and move it to the tab next to it to search, I have a problem with double-clicking on an icon to move it or double-clicking on a window to move it. If I use the left button under the touchpad, everything is fine. When I want to do this by double-clicking the touchpad - it only works sometimes.

I am used to doing this with one hand and with the touchpad itself. I compared the settings with my previous laptop where it worked without problems and they are the same.

What can you advise me in such a situation?

If the installation of drivers dedicated to this rains does not help, it remains to be replaced with a new one.

Lenovo v310 bought a few days ago, that's how it is from the beginning. In the elan tab, I clicked update drivers and they are up to date.

Tap to click - where is this option? Because I do not know if we understand each other, a single click works fine, it is about double clicking to move the text, e.g.

I didn't find the option called "tap to click", I only found the option "one finger tap - select / click" in the driver options and it is checked.
There is no problem with double clicking on a folder.

I have an arrow next to the clock and there are icons, speakers, avast and there is also a touchpad - after clicking on it with the right button there are two options - my favorite settings or properties of the touchpad after clicking it redirects me to the property: mouse, to the elan touchpad driver tab

    Anyone advise something?
From what I can see, I have some newer elan touchpad, not the one I have seen in other tabs, i.e. synaptics.
