    Hello,
After returning from vacation, I found a stain of thawed food under the refrigerator.
Due to the fact that the two-year warranty period has expired, I started locating the fault.
After turning on the power, the generator hummed instead of running. I unplugged the electronics and connected it "for a short time" directly to the mains - the effect of the work was the same as before. I released the gas (R600a), disassembled the generator and replaced it with a functional one, ordering a service technician to connect it to me and fill it with new gas. Due to the fact that the new unit on the plate had a description of a different gas, R134a was pressed into the refrigerator.
Before loading, we purged the system, the capillary turned out to be clean, we replaced the filter (dehydrator) and soldered the wires in the door harness, because the display was hardly legible.
The expert said that the fridge "works", he took the money and bye.
    As it turned out:
Despite reaching the set temperature (refrigerator +5, freezer -21), the unit continues to work and does not turn off.

I am asking for a hint, what could be the cause of the situation, the control modem or one of the sensors?

After opening the door, the damper closes (according to the instructions), this is also OK.
On the control board I found the CN30 connector with sensors connected. After disconnecting it, the power unit stops, but after reconnecting it, a few minutes pass and it starts again and works like this endlessly.

What could be causing this? Where to find the fault?

    Hello
What's the idea of changing the chiller from R600 to R134? The installation is designed for R600. What is the temperature in the freezer? If the unit is running all the time, the freezer should be about 35 ° C negative.

If I had known myself, I would not have asked for advice. A "specialist" came, so I trusted him.
When the temperature in the freezer exceeds -23 degrees, I turn it off, because what's the point of freezing to the max ?! The chiller is hot so wait for it to cool down.

    Hello
In that case, call a professional for a complaint. Probably a professional sold the compressor on R134 and he set it up for you. What he put on you has 150W, and yours is about 200W and it is about cooling power.

Anyway, the chiller works, and both the freezer and the refrigerator get the right temperature, but what is the reason for the continuous operation of the chiller?

After studying many topics and threads related to the bad work of cooling equipment, I started to repair myself, starting with testing the wiring harness, replacing the temperature sensors and the electronic module.
I am currently waiting for a shipment with freezer sensors. After replacement, the effect will be described.

After replacing the freezer temperature sensor (PLN 26), the refrigerator came back to life.
After reaching the set temperature, the unit goes into standby-turns off.

Months pass and the refrigerator works without any problems.

    I consider the topic closed.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Samsung RL56GWGIH1 refrigerator that continues to run despite reaching the set temperature. The user experienced issues after returning from vacation, discovering thawed food and a malfunctioning compressor. A technician replaced the original R600a compressor with an R134a unit, which led to improper cooling. The user later replaced the freezer temperature sensor, which resolved the issue, allowing the refrigerator to function correctly and enter standby mode after reaching the desired temperature. The user confirmed that the refrigerator has been operating without problems since the repair.
