    Hello.
As in the topic, the refrigerator has stopped working. Does not cool, does not freeze, no light. Only the display is flashing, and something I marked in the first photo is puffing along with the flashing. After plugging into the socket, you can hear a click and the red LED on the inverter lights up for about a second and then goes off.
I am asking for any advice what it might be. Thanks greetings ;)

This is PIEZO Buzer, something like a PC bios speaker.
For safety, remember to disconnect the main power source. You have glass fuses on both boards, you can check them first. Anyway, some kind of service diagram would seem. In general, you do not have a guarantee for it yet? Due to the heat, many refrigerators refuse to obey.

The fuses seem ok, the fridge is almost 5 years old so the warranty is long gone. It looks like a used starter with a fluorescent lamp. Puffs, blinks, but can't get it. When it started flashing, after a while I disconnected from the network and after about 15 minutes I connected and caught it, but after a while it started flashing again and now nothing changes. It looked as if some capacitor was burning out, but from the outside I can't see anything. I am counting on some hints whether it is worth buying an inverter or maybe it is something else.

And from the aggregate side, as it looks, there is usually a capacitor. The unit (compressor) when it turns on, usually after turning it off, it must cool down, there is a tablet ( posistor ) which does not cool down until the knock, the generator will not restart.

There is no simplified diagram on the back of the refrigerator, sometimes the manufacturer sticks it. But anyway, I would look for a Samsung service, they have access to such information ... But these ordinary household appliances services may also have access, probably after buying a license to the Samsung technical specification ... It's better not to rummage there yourself, especially if there is so much electronics stuck.

Welcome back. The case now looks like this: I replaced the entire module (board above), the fridge is already cooling and freezing, but the temperature setting buttons do not respond. Only two diodes from the refrigerator temperature are flashing and the alarm of the open door is constantly ringing. Anyone have any ideas?

There is a BLDC motor. There is no posistor.

Check the connection of the display with the rest of the electronics.

I checked the cables, everything seems ok. At one point it occurred to me to try to do a kind of reset. I unplugged the refrigerator, pressed both temperature buttons and, holding them, plugged the refrigerator into the socket. And got it, the display and buttons are already working. Every now and then the door alarm goes off, but maybe it's just a bad sensor. We'll see what happens next :)

    Hello.
I would like to ask you how you solved the problem with your refrigerator. I have a similar one Samsung RB29F and I have the same symptoms, it does not cool, the LEDs are blinking. The back of the fridge is the same as yours, i.e. 2 PCBs with electronics (identical to your photos). Where did you buy the larger tile and how much does it cost? I am asking for all possible information and even contact me by phone.
    Here is the e-mail: gibon4(_at_)interia.pl phone: 795 486 416.
    regards Krzysztof

As described above, I replaced the larger PCB. I found Allegro for PLN 100 but the normal store price is about PLN 300. Later I had to reset as I wrote. The refrigerator works, but the door alarm buzzes today.

    Hello.
Thanks, I bought the same one in the North store for PLN 312. He'll probably come tomorrow. 5 years have passed this month, the deliberate action of the manufacturer. Tomorrow I will mention it, I will write if it worked. Regards and thanks for the answer.
    best regards

Somehow I do not want to believe that the disc is damaged. At least not so much that it cannot be repaired.
I suspect damage to the power supply. As a rule, through the loss of capacity of electrolytic capacitors. Only not everyone can repair the disc, so they buy a new one.
As if you took good photos of both sides of the old record after the exchange. Unfortunately, the author's photos are out of focus.

Not necessarily. It may be mere "economy" ... and its effects match the worldwide trend of crap production.
When assembling the board, I recommend that you carefully check the cable connecting the board with the display. Especially near the hinge, i.e. where the cable has to bend.

Topic summary

The Samsung RB31FERNDBC refrigerator is experiencing a malfunction characterized by a blinking display, lack of cooling and freezing, and no interior light. Initial troubleshooting suggested checking glass fuses and the inverter, with indications of a potential capacitor issue. After replacing the main control board, the refrigerator resumed cooling, but the temperature setting buttons became unresponsive, and a door alarm persisted. A reset procedure involving unplugging and pressing temperature buttons was attempted, which restored some functionality. Users discussed sourcing replacement parts, with costs ranging from PLN 100 to PLN 312, and emphasized the importance of checking connections and potential power supply issues.
