I have had a problem with the Samsung No Frost refrigerator for some time. Previously, she worked very quietly (I have had it for 3 years) and now she works all the time, it is loud, sometimes it shakes the entire refrigerator. If it is not working (which happens very rarely), it gurgles and every now and then as if something "shot" in it. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I had it in the fridge too. The coolant is leaking somewhere, you need to rinse the polystyrene, and it is not known whether it will be released elsewhere in a month. Then punching, and generally a very expensive service without a guarantee of longer operation and, in a word, unprofitable. This is the quality of currently produced refrigerators.

What foam ripping at No Frost? One of the best refrigerators to repair when it comes to leaks, at the beginning it would be good to defrost it for 24 hours.

My colleague, I can see, is not fully aware of the subject and immediately nervously expresses his only correct view. Nofrost has nothing to do with what a colleague wrote, it is a technology that removes moisture and ice from the refrigerator, and polystyrene ripping is necessary because there are pipes embedded in polystyrene in which there is freon, usually there are leaks at the temperature sensor or at connections or bends . I do not know the methods and the service technicians do not know the methods how to determine if the pipes and connections are tight if they are embedded in the polystyrene foam without uncovering them. The fact that the refrigerator does not turn off in 90% of cases is due to the pressure drop of the refrigerant, and therefore leaks, although I may be wrong. By the way, maybe a colleague will give you the brand of a refrigerator that repairs itself by switching it on and off, I will gladly buy one.

In some NoFrost models, the temperature of the refrigerator is regulated by blowing air from the freezer, then a colleague falo22 is right, and in other NoFrost models in the refrigerator there is an evaporator on the back wall and then a colleague is right darekwko :)

My friend darekwko if we are talking about the No Frost System and you return to freon gas (another era), it is no wonder that you do not understand what I wrote. If there is an evaporator in the freezer, and the cold air distribution system to the refrigerator is through air ducts, then usually a capillary and a suction pipe (return) go to the evaporator. Therefore, it is not a problem to replace these tubes from the evaporator to the compressor (if there is a possible leak on them).

Even when there is a situation with a hidden condenser on the sides of the refrigerator, you can always use an external condenser, and omit the one under the foam. So much in the subject, and how it is no frost 50/50, i.e. the freezer has an evaporator with blowing, and the refrigerator has (static) cooling options, then I will agree that it will not do without ripping, but I doubt that Samsung would make such refrigerators.
