There has been a problem with the Whirlpool WBE3714W single-aggregate fridge-freezer for several days. Refrigerator warm, freezer frozen.

I have been at the stage of completely defrosting the fridge for about 24 hours. This is what I am starting with.
I hope there is no loss of refrigerant.

What could be the causes besides a loss of refrigerant?

    Hello!
After defrosting, push the tube through to the evaporator drain. Then I would check the refrigerator thermostat. You won't see any leakage because the tube and the evaporator are flooded with stero-foam. After defrosting, turn down the freezer temperature almost to O. If you can, dismantle the thermostat and pull it out gently so as not to break the tube. Check that it switches on. I don't need to write to you about maintaining health and safety. If this doesn't help then you have a hole in the evaporator.

    Best regards Mir.Nasz

    Thank you for your guidance.

The thermostat turns on the compressor and has continuity, the evaporator in this fridge is three shelves of tubes in the freezer. Everything else built in nothing is visible.
    The freezer freezes very strongly.
The fridge after 6 hrs of operation reached +15 degrees with an outside temperature of +24. I have the impression that the fridge is not working at all and the gentle cooling takes from the freezer below (cold fridge floor)

Is there any other way to give this fridge a boost?

The only thing that remains is to replace it with a newer model. A refrigerant leak has this effect: the freezer freezes very well and the refrigerator does not cool at all.

    Hopes dashed. .
Does the compressor run all the time?
You might want to check the condenser (that black mesh at the back, unless it's built into the sidewalls) to make sure it's all warm, just to be sure.

The condenser is not uniformly warm throughout - strongly from one side right and getting cooler towards the left.
The compressor runs all the time, but if there is no cooling of the cooler the thermostat will not switch off the compressor because the sensor is a "long wire" and the reading is averaged.

If it is as in the attached post describing the electrolux case and all indications are that it is the same, then there is probably a leak in the refrigerator evaporator which is hidden in the wall.
    Thank you for the hint.

Is there a chance to sell such a fridge for service parts, because compressor OK, thermostat also rather OK. Housing very nice seals whole etc....

Checking if there is a hole is possible but expensive and if there is a hole in the interior, repair is impossible.
You need to solder in a service valve and fill with nitrogen. A nitrogen leak is a hole. If you don't find a hole/leaky solder around the compressor, it's a dud.
The steps above cannot be done "at home" and someone has to take money for the expert work and tools with no guarantee of success. .

    Unfortunately refrigerator damaged. Leakage.

Topic summary

The Whirlpool WBE3714W refrigerator is experiencing cooling issues, with the freezer functioning properly while the fridge remains warm. After defrosting, the thermostat was checked and confirmed operational, but the fridge still fails to cool effectively. Suggestions include examining the evaporator for leaks, checking the condenser's temperature, and considering the possibility of a refrigerant leak. If a leak is confirmed, repair may be costly or impractical, leading to the recommendation of replacing the unit. The user expressed interest in selling the appliance for parts due to its intact compressor and thermostat.
