    Good morning,
Recently I looked at Xiaomi smartphones because I would like to buy. I am interested in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. On the manufacturer's website (http://www.mi.com/in/note4/specs/) in the battery tab there is no information about fast loading, but on the manufacturer's website (Snapdragon 625, https: //www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/625) is the information that it has such technology. And now my question is whether the phone supports Quick Charge or not?

    Please help!

    Greetings!

But rather the processor function will not block. And do you suggest that Qualcomm's site is an unbelievable source? Hmmm. Weird

Without a proper layout, software and perhaps another battery, the processor itself will be powerless. The fact that it enables such a function does not mean that the device manufacturer must use it.

Qualcomm is not lying. SoC supports QC, while Xiaomi has blocked this feature in this model.

What you want to know is the charging time. From 0 to 100% it takes about 2.5 hours. The charger connected to the phone is two-amp. In my opinion, the tragic charging time is not taking into account the fact that the cell has 4100 mAh.

Xiaomi budget models do not have a Quick Charge for licensing costs. Just having Qualcomm SoC is not enough.

    Thanks for the answers.

Topic summary

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 does not support Quick Charge despite the Snapdragon 625 processor being capable of it. Users noted that Xiaomi has disabled this feature in the Redmi Note 4, likely due to licensing costs associated with Quick Charge technology. Charging the device from 0 to 100% takes approximately 2.5 hours with a standard two-amp charger, which some users find unsatisfactory given the phone's 4100 mAh battery capacity.
