Hello for a few days basically from Tuesday I have a problem with the car which is vectra cz 2005 engine 1.9 cdti (150 HP)
Symptoms are that when starting the car, inserting the key to position II (2), the LED / picture of the car with the key does not go out (window under the tachometer clocks), during firing, i.e. turning the starter and firing the car, this picture goes out. The car normally accelerates in 1st and 2nd gear, but if I exceed 50 km in 3rd gear the problem starts, I have about 1600, 1700 turns and starts, vibrations, jerking the car, as if it lacked oil then the picture of the car lights up the key, after a while the jerking stops often, e.g. when I exceed 2200 revolutions, although it is difficult to screw the car into this range, and so it happens in every gear, 3, 4, 5, 6, ... the larger the gear is worse.
I gave the car to the mechanic, it was connected to the computer, nothing showed. The mechanic started groping a bit and came out, someone was fumbling at the EGR, for screwed bolts, some lost, well, someone was up to something.
    So EGR buried so
The turbine controller works not obstructed, the control of the exhaust flaps has been repaired because it was broken, the delicate fuel leak was repaired, the EGR was cleaned by someone, the stabbed mechanic did something there, although he says it is not as it should be. He doesn't know what is the reason, the low pressure forepump? , fuel pressure sensor on the rail? buried EGR? , maybe someone here will have an idea. Replacing things yen after another is not art, one day something will come across, but everything costs .....

So it did not show errors, so now do diagnostics at a real mechanic and not at the exchanger.

This mechanic has never let me down, but on the other hand he doesn't want to change a man so that he doesn't come across a trickster.
I will only add the EGR valve, it was blinded by a mechanic, he did it when the car was with him and the same symptoms, so EGR excluded.

Change gears so that the next to drive from 2100 turns. Diesel doesn't like silting up, hard driving either.

Except when gear shifting, however, the speed drops and this is a problem because I don't want to pull up without counting 1st and 2nd gears

If you accelerate to 3,000 revolutions for 2, then including 3 revolutions will drop, but the car has its speed and with the speed of the car you will get more than 2000 revolutions. I keep revolutions between 2000 and 3000.

Welcome back. I think the car is almost dead. The mechanic said that at the moment there is no blindfold, unfortunately the electrician I was supposed to take the car to is slow, but yesterday the car had already fallen. The key ceased to ignite at all while driving, but the car lost maximum power. At present, the check engine indicator light is on while driving, the car has no power at all, and the engine is running like a "chopper" To move the car you practically need to have a pedal in the floor and really release the clutch. Returning from work, the car at all went out while driving, I got to the "gravity" parking lot, it was good in advance and there was a parkin at the end. I waited 10 minutes and got home, but it was a fight. 1.2, 3rd gear tortured to 3000 revolutions, then disconnected the fuel (that's how I felt it), the ride was more about pushing the gas to the maximum in the floor, and wondering if it would go out. Speeding the car, it looks more like someone pushing it than driving. The engine runs very unevenly, at idle when I was waiting for the green light, "telepała" the whole car. When turning off the engine, as the saying goes "until it rang" kennel. After that I will try to record and upload a video of the engine work. In my opinion, although I am not a mechanic, the car works on 3 cylinders, or simply these 4 are not working evenly.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2005 Vectra C with a 1.9 CDTI engine (150 HP) experiencing power loss at around 1,700 RPM, accompanied by jerking and an issue with the car key LED indicator. The user reports that the LED does not turn off when the key is in position II, but goes off during engine start. The car accelerates normally in lower gears but struggles in higher gears, particularly above 50 km/h, leading to vibrations and loss of power. Initial diagnostics showed no errors, and the EGR valve was previously blinded, ruling it out as a cause. Subsequent issues included complete power loss while driving and the check engine light activating. The user is seeking further diagnostics and potential solutions to the ongoing problems.
