I am the owner of the Opel Astra H 1.7 CDTI
At the beginning, undulating rotation, I replaced the SCV valve with a new one. After a month or so the waving came back, I put on the old valve after cleaning and the engine started to work evenly (a slight waving showed once in a while), and after a few months the waving came back again. Later, another problem appeared, where the engine loses power and accelerates slower (you can feel the turbine turning on, but it does not accelerate as before) and at 1100 to 2300 rpm the engine starts to vibrate and sometimes makes strange sounds like vibrating, clapping valves.
The "car with a key" light is on, and after a warm engine where I start again, this light goes out. After connecting the computer, nothing showed and everything is ok. The fuel filter was changed (it was clean and the fuel from the filter had no sediment). After a few hours, instead of the "car with key" indicator light, "engine" appeared and went out the same way when starting it as the engine was warmed up. The next day the "engine" light disappeared and the "car with key" light returned
Maybe someone has encountered such a problem and knows what it could be?
