    Maybe my question will seem silly to some, but if cleaning / painting the petrol lawnmower (its bottom, i.e. around the knife) can it be turned 180 degrees and put on the engine, or better not to do it and drive it into a channel to thoroughly clean and paint it?

    Unless they are baked. If you don't want to go, it's good that you unscrew it because it means you have a wedge cut and you need to fix it anyway.

    For painting, it is better to remove the engine completely for washing, I tilt it to the side and I will not use the mower until the next season.

    The only correct option for "tilting" the mower with the engine is that the engine when tilting is the piston / cylinder up.
    In this way:

    Not so:

    And not like this:
