Hi :) Before the new season, I finally got rid of the cable and bought a petrol lawn mower. The engine is Loncin, 196cc. Generally, such equipment is completely new to me, so a few questions arise, I would be grateful if you would help me dispel my doubts.

    1. I am going to test it tomorrow, and thus flood it with fuel and oil, therefore the first question: can the fuel be stored in the mower's tank for, say, these two weeks until the first mowing?

    2. Does the mower, like the car, not like to work to the last drop and can it then get aerated and have a problem with restarting after refueling? In the sense, can you burn the leftovers by waiting for it to go out?

    3. At the engine I have a hybrid air filter - a sponge and a paper one. (paper from the engine side, a sponge - all in one housing).

Do you need to sprinkle the sponge with oil? On the Internet, I saw, for example, Briggs engines, where there was only a sponge (they recommended sprinkling it) or paper where nothing about it ... I did not see anything about oil on the filter in the manual for my mower.

    4. In this case, is the engine running-in limited to oil shedding after the first 5 hours of operation? Can I use normally from the beginning? There is nothing in the manual about it except for the information about the accelerated first exchange.

    1. Take it easy, you can leave fuel during the season. Pour out or burn out for the winter.
    2. This often happens, there is no fuel gauge. Pour in new ones, suck in and that's it.
    3. In older models, the sponge was moistened with oil.
    4. It is advisable not to "drive" for several hours continuously.

By mistake I tried to start a warm suction engine. Can something like this cause the mower to malfunction? I am asking hypothetically. As I realized, the mower started normally. Thanks for the reply
