Check the gearbox for proper oil condition. Bearings and sleeve bearings in the gearbox may have worn out. You need to listen to this noise well in order not to actually disassemble the vehicle unnecessarily. Check also how the belt transmission works, i.e. the variator (condition of the rollers and counter-discs) and the clutch (the condition of the spring, friction linings, it is also bearing). That the belt is in good condition and of the correct size.

This is the tooth play of the gear. In my opinion it is too big, probably the modes are already worked out or someone was driving without oil or on the wrong oil. You have to undress and assess the condition. Excessive load could cause the transmission to wear faster.

As far as I know, the entire scooter was prepared for the season (e.g. the drive belt was replaced with a new one). I checked the oil level by unscrewing the oil filter from the housing. I understand that this is the only place where I check the oil level.
