    Hello

I have a Mercedes W203 with factory Harman Kardon sound system. I installed the radio:

mercedes w203 + android station - Selection of an amplifier for the harman kardo

The problem is the factory fiber optic installation of the original H&K amplifier. I have no sound now, because the factory radio sent a signal via optical fiber to the amplifier in the trunk, where the entire loudspeaker beam is also located.

I thought to drag the chinche from the radio to the trunk, where the factory speaker system is located, and use an aftermarket amplifier:

    BOSCHMANN Z-8528X

    PLN 429

It is 5-channel. I would like to power the factory H&K speakers - front door, rear door and a woofer from the shelf.

Is my way of thinking correct? What do you think about the mentioned amplifier?

Do you connect additional speakers to the channels? Ie in the board, additional in the shelf? Is it better to leave it alone and connect the front, rear and woofers, as I wrote earlier?

Maybe there would be a better amplifier in a similar budget?

H&K + bushman? Man, they will bite you here for such a combination ... :D . Provide the model of your current radio, ideally whether it has coaxial output.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy an analog to TOSLINK converter and connect to the factory amplifier with a fiber optic cable?

I am not sure if the original one is functional. Someone before me messed with fiber optics, i.e. he replaced the original comand with an ordinary standard radio w203, made some workarounds, took the changer, took the gsm module.

That's why I bought this android station, due to the functionality and costs of restoring the factory system to live.

    My factory H&K amplifier:
