    I have installed a new HP DJ 2130 printer. I have Windows XP SP3. The scanner is working. You can copy but not print if I print from PC.
    I tried on another computer it was ok.

    If it's OK on another computer, you have the wrong drivers installed. It is best to disconnect the printer from the computer, uninstall the current driver, and then be sure to reset the computer. Then, from the HP website, download the correct driver for that printer for your system. Install it and then connect the printer. Then it should be fine.

    I did as you wrote. But the situation is the same: it scans, copies without problem. But it doesn't respond to a print command. You can see that the file is being sent to the printer, the printer icon appears on the bar for a moment, but then it disappears and there is no document selected for printing.

    I checked all the settings are identical. The system is different. Maybe there is something wrong with Windows.

    No - it's online. Maybe this is interesting: if the printer is online then this is the situation (described above) with the printer icon appearing and disappearing in the bar. If the printer is offline, the icon does not disappear and in the tasks there is this document for printing only in the table of "pages" is not available. When switching to online, the document in the tasks disappears.

    If this is the case, you must have incorrectly set selections in the printing options. I don't remember which one it is exactly, but there are two functions which turning off will solve the problem. When I remember (because I haven't turned them off for a long time), I will let you know.
