1) chipset - install at the beginning from the website of the chipset manufacturer:

2) WiFi - download, unpack, install via device manager (network controller) pointing to the directory with the unpacked driver:

If any of them fail to install, let your friend know. There will be no driver for the Simple Communications controller (enter the id here and the appropriate driver will be found), it is also worth expanding the "graphics cards" category - if there is a standard VGA controller, it is worth entering its ID and installing the correct driver. If he uses a Touchpad Mate and wants finger scrolling and other advanced functions to work - you also need to enter the ID of the touchpad, it will be in the mice in the device manager (visible as a mouse).
