Hello, I bought a Chinese IP Sannce camera to watch a sleeping child. I know it's nothing special, but it works great as an electronic nanny. I only have one question about connecting to WiFi. At the moment I am using the dedicated Sannce Cam software. He adds a device, a connection to the home network and that's ok. The problem arises when he wants to go somewhere with the child and connect the webcam there. Then I have to enter the settings (of course on the camera connected to the router) and change the point from home wifi to another one and so every time. My question is whether it is possible to set up several "profiles" for one camera? Ie, can I have, for example, a device configured for use with a router at home in one application, another is a router at my friends', the third is a hotspot in the tablet (when I am outside home o I don't have access to wifi), the fourth is some other place, etc.? In a dedicated app, when I want to add a second device, I get a message that this camera already exists in the application. Perhaps there is another one that does not have such limitations Thanks in advance for your help and best regards :)

You did not write what the camera is. You do not have the option of connecting it to the network via the cloud - P2P?

There it is, just read the description of what you buy.
So download the app, configure it and enjoy it working.

What's more, you can be at work and your child at home and you will also know what the nanny is doing with him.

I know it all. I downloaded the app, the webcam works but I didn't ask about it.

The camera is paired with the access point defined during the configuration - moving the camera involves reconfiguration, that's it.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

    OK thanks.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges of connecting a Sannce IP camera to multiple WiFi networks for monitoring a child. The user seeks a solution to configure multiple WiFi profiles for the camera, allowing seamless switching between different networks (home, friends' house, and mobile hotspots) without needing to reconfigure the device each time. Responses indicate that the camera is typically paired with a single access point during setup, necessitating reconfiguration when moving to a different network. Suggestions include checking if the camera supports cloud connectivity (P2P) for remote access, but no definitive solution for multiple profiles is provided.
