The answer is simple. In this situation, we do an adaptation. If the N is still flashing, it means that you need to adjust the clutch actuator, or actuator, so that it pushes harder on the fork to push the clutch in harder. In the Toyota Auris, you have to push as far to the right as possible. If still nothing, you can push lightly on the fork with some kind of rod, move the actuator and tighten. I'm sure it will work.
Instructions from calibration can be found if you have a problem.
I insert the cable into pins 4 and 13 and we wait about 10-15 seconds. We turn the ignition switch. We wait again for about 10 seconds. We quickly press the brake pedal a minimum of 7 times until the computer beeps. We shift the gear lever into manual. Minus 4 times, holding the brake all the time.
We return to neutral. Let go of the brake. Press in once. The computer beeps again a few times. Release the brake and press 3 times quickly. The computer should beep several times. Switch off the ignition.
Wait a minimum of 10 seconds. Remove the cable from the pins. Turn the ignition without firing up and without the brake. You should hear the gears changing. Wait for about 50 seconds after turning the ignition. Then turn the ignition off and start the car with the brake pressed. N should flash a maximum of 3 times and illuminate permanently.
