[Solved] Viadrus U22 5-Pcs Furnace Extension & Feeder: Eco-Pea Coal Compatibility & Dual Fuel Burning

Hello. I have a Viadrus u22 5 pcs. I am thinking of extending this furnace with a Viadrus feeder for eco-pea coal. And I have a question whether, once I set up the feeder, it will be possible to burn in the oven as before, i.e. without any problems. If the feeder works, it cannot be burned with e.g. wood in the furnace. Is there maybe someone on the forum who has such a stove with this feeder? Greetings.

I do not have this feeder, but I have a Viadrus to which I wanted to mount this device. For this reason, I have read carefully the construction and conversion instructions for this boiler. A hole is cut in the bottom part under the ash drawer (no water there). The effect is that the entire boiler (with the original ash pan drawer removed) stands on an additional hearth. From a technical point of view, there is nothing to prevent you from smoking as before. The only obstacle is that the original drawer can sometimes fall into the "hole". The drawer may not be used, but then you have to select from the retort burner all the ash that will fall through the grate.

Thank you for your answer. How about the warranty after cutting this hole? From my experience while burning in this stove, I know that the ash also falls outside the drawer, i.e. it would clutter the burner.

You must ask the seller about the terms of the warranty, it seems to expire.
