Hello, I bought a stove in Witkowski in the summer (I applaud for the quick delivery of the order with delivery to my home, as well as the quality of the product). I have a problem with the furnace settings for low combustion, and the highest thermal efficiency. I have a 25 KW boiler heating a house with an area 220 meters, 140 liters water reservoir. Burning for today's daily I have a level of 35 kg. The furnace controller is Timel SKZP-02 to which I have plugged room module to read the temperature, the exhaust sensor and the weather module.
    Furnace settings:
    Pre-set temperature 55 *
    Hot water 50 *
    Reg. Peaceful T.comfortowa 22 *
    T.economical 20 *
    Hysteresis 0.2 *

    Room Regulator
    weather correction 0
    switch-off temperature every 20 *

    Torch
    - Automatic Work Mode
    Modulation
    Min. Boiler power% 5
    Maximum boiler power% 100
Maximum time of exceeding the temperature 60

    Air
    - air min (10% of the burner power) 5
    - max air (100% of the burner power) 25
    - blow when giving fuel% 15

    Fuel
    - calorific value kWh / kg 7.8
    - fuel dose correction (-30% / + 30%) -10%
    - calorific value in MJ / kg 28.1

    Interval Work
    - 5s administration time
    - break time 80s
    - air 25%
    -Histheresis 5 *

    Vigil
    - break 10min
    - blowing time 15s
    - air 20%
    - 5s administration time

    Extinguishing time 120 min
potential of the feeder (kg / h) 15
time of feeding in the machine 6s
    max. exhaust temperature 220 *
    rated power 25

I do not have a three-way / four-way valve because it's an old installation, mixer etc. the flap from the chimney is closed to 30%

Hello, what are the valves on the radiators?

I have thermostatic valves at panel radiators, but in the installation, I also have cast iron radiators that work with "full power".

Valves must be everywhere and necessarily a 3 or 4 way valve. Only then can you play with the settings.

It seems to me that there are ways to change the furnace settings to reduce the combustion of eco-pea coal without a 3/4-way valve, unless I am wrong to please correct my statement.

I also have an old installation, but the 4d valve I installed mainly for the possibility of independently regulating the temperature of hot water and heating - I consider it a very good decision.
I do not keep accurate statistics, but I have the impression that I was significantly affected by the reduction of water flow through the pump which - (I now have about 1.2 m ^ 3 / h) increased the difference in supply and return temperatures (around 55/48) because earlier they were almost similar.
Each building and installation is different, no one will give a recipe, it is worth considering how much the previous system pulled you in such weather conditions, but 35kg a day when it is outside +10 oC can actually raise concerns.
(I also have the boiler temperature 55, hot water 50, but the house is smaller, the controller is in automatic mode with power modulation (works in the 3-8kW range), I also left 2 old radiators without thermo heads and I can not wait for it now, when my imprudent I will fix the decision)

Well, sympathize as at the end of September. 35kg x30 days = 1050kgx 850 PLN / T = 940 PLN / month Seperation / October. I pay so much for 2 months: November-December for gas with dubious subscription, transfers, etc.

Everything is set under conditions and a given fuel batch. You have to change the settings in such a way as to maintain the maximum temperature stability of the boiler, often the seemingly economical setting is incorrect because it leads to cooling the boiler and increasing the combustion which instead of heating the house already warms up the cooled boiler.
There is a nice side somewhere which roughly calculated the amount of fuel in kg on the basis of data on the building, insulation, boiler, etc. For me it worked quite well.

My advice is the following I had a similar installation.
Room thermostat - one temperature for the whole day, eg 22 * C, hysteresis 1 * C (lowering the night by 2 * C causes that the stove will save in the day, I will use it twice in order to obtain a higher temperature)
Adjusting the chimney draft - open in half, or quite, and buy a chimney draft regulator with a flap under the blower, then it will automatically close the string.
Interval work - with me I had a feeding ratio of 1-6, in frosts 1-5, that is 60s waiting and 10s feeding, you can set 90s downtime and 15 s feeding - a lot faster bake temperature and do not sinter, and hysteresis reduced on 1.5 * C
I am still due to the fact that I had a tube from the power supply 40 I screwed the valve on the supply reducing the water flow to 1/3 of the diameter, and the pump was always on 1, (3 ranges available), I set the boiler at 42 * C because I have 240l and the water is hot and the water pump very rarely turns on. With this setting, I used about 16-18 kg per day.

In the manual of my driver with power modulation it is written that this mode "fuzzy logic" in the period with low heat consumption spring / autumn is not very economical and it is recommended to set the minimum power parameter to a higher value, so try to raise it, eg 30% .
I have the impression that it also confirms to me.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around optimizing the settings of a 25 KW Ekogroszek boiler with a Timel SKZP-02 controller for efficient low combustion and thermal performance. The user reports a daily fuel consumption of 35 kg for heating a 220 m² house with a 140-liter water reservoir. Participants suggest various adjustments, including the use of thermostatic valves, the importance of maintaining boiler temperature stability, and the potential benefits of a 3 or 4-way valve for better control. Recommendations include setting a room thermostat to a consistent temperature, adjusting chimney draft, and modifying feeding intervals to enhance efficiency. The conversation highlights the need for tailored settings based on individual installation conditions and fuel characteristics.
