    Question for stunters :)
Can the refrigeration system in the home equipment with R134a compressor be filled with R600a?
I am asking because I still get home fridge-freezers with R134 defect like the Beko above, and I do not have access to the above factor :)

There must be a compressor for the R600 also on the R600.
    R134a will be bought without a problem (small bottles, large 12kg / 25kg returnable or non-returnable 13.5kg).

To purchase gas (except R600) you need a certificate which the wholesaler asks.

That is why I wrote "without major problems". I can ask here and there if I need something to buy from them.

    Does not have to.
It is possible to fill the system with R600a factor (with the compressor and the system for R-134a factor) by setting half of the medium according to the rating plate .
In the opposite direction it is impossible. The oil and refrigerant are "boiling".

I did not, and only heard that the compressor must be different (maybe oil), but I will not speak. I do not act in this respect.

I bought R600 in an amount of 0.5 from the rating plate.
In addition, I read on one refrigeration forum to extend the capillary due to the different thermodynamics of the R600a.
    Everything works nicely :)

Topic summary

The discussion centers on the feasibility of replacing R134a refrigerant with R600a in a refrigeration system, specifically in home appliances like the Beko CS321CAW fridge-freezer. It is noted that while R600a can be used in systems designed for R134a, the compressor must be compatible, and adjustments may be necessary due to differing thermodynamic properties. Users highlight the regulatory requirements for purchasing R134a, as it is a controlled substance, while R600a can be obtained more easily. One user successfully filled their system with R600a after extending the capillary tube to accommodate the different refrigerant properties.
