How do I get it to load the settings of the device that is currently connected?

I have two Ubiquiti Unifii in one network. I set up one a long time ago. Now I have bought a second Ubiquiti Unifii. I connect the latter to the router, turn on the Ubiquiti Unifii Controller after entering the login and password, it shows me the settings of the first Ubiquiti. What's interesting, I disconnected the first one from the network, so as if it showed the offline settings.

    1) So how do I connect the second Ubiquiti Unifii so that the Ubiquiti Unifii Controller can see it?
    2) Can I configure Ubiquiti Unifii with Ubiquiti Unifii Controller without router involvement?

Ad.1. The controller should "see" available new APs to take over (if it is able to communicate with it - eg the AP should get the appropriate IP configuration from DHCP). If not, it may be a controller firmware / version issue (since you configured a long time ago, the version is probably "vintage" already). Try to upgrade the controller and then the current AP to the new firmware version.
Ad. 2. Yes, it is possible.

I will stay with it because Mikrotik cannot see the UniFi connected to me and I do not know why, because when I switched to the TV, it appeared in it, hence I say that DHCP on the MT side works ok.

    So how to configure it.
    1) reset
    2) I connect the cable to the computer
    3) I fire up the controler?

so far, as I did in point three, it was loading my offline settings for the previous device. He did not see a new one.

I only answered your question, but I did not list the conditions that must be met to make it possible ... Let's start with this - what are the versions of devices, their firmware and what version of the controller? The new AP was new, not configured before? in Mikrotik's log you can see any dhcp-related entries after starting AP?
If the memory serves me correctly, then when the AP does not get the lease from dhcp it starts "fallback IP" 192.168.1.20, which should be allowed to connect via ssh.

The devices may not be able to see each other because I have a problem / I think / with a twisted pair or a RJ45 socket.

I have a double hager socket to which two Cat 6 cables are plugged. The ends of the cables go to the teletechnical cabinet and are ended with a keyston.
    Solution 1:
Mikrotik port2 - keystone 1 - Hager 1 - unifi works solid green, wifi works fine
    Solution 2:
Mikrotik port2 - keystone 2 - Hager 2 - unifi does not work, blinks green flashing light every few seconds, the ssid network appears and disappears

in the second solution, I connected a meter with a terminator at the ends, which showed that the wires were not interchanged and each answered. What could be causing this condition?

Just try to get the connectors on both sides of this cable again.

I suspect that your 2 Unifi APs are trying to work on the same address.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around configuring two Ubiquiti UniFi devices within the same network using the Ubiquiti UniFi Controller. The user is experiencing issues with the controller only displaying settings for the first device, even after disconnecting it. Key points include the necessity for the new access point (AP) to be recognized by the controller, which may require a firmware update if the controller is outdated. The user is advised to ensure that the new AP is properly connected and receiving an IP address via DHCP. Troubleshooting steps include resetting the device, connecting it directly to a computer, and checking for DHCP lease entries in the Mikrotik logs. Additionally, there are concerns about potential cabling issues affecting connectivity, as one of the setups shows intermittent connectivity. Suggestions include verifying cable connections and ensuring that both APs are not conflicting over the same IP address.
