    Hello dear.
I have Ducato 2014 and Delphi F250FL radio.
I wanted to put this radio on, because it looks nice with a high gloss and fits on the Klimronica panel.
When connected, Code Error is displayed due to a lack of Can communication. It turns out that in the A ISO plug, pins 1 Can B and 3 Can A are simply empty.
So I connected to the OBD socket for pins 6 and 14, respectively. The radio still does not allow you to enter the code, after 10 minutes it turns off and in addition after starting the engine there are 2 messages about traction control errors and something else. The corresponding lights come on.
The conclusion is that this radio cannot communicate over Can and will not play without it.
The radio is original, factory, I have a code.
Can anything be done about it?

Try to connect with CANy with body or clocks. I used to connect the radio in Grande Punto on a body like yours, it went without a problem, the colors of CAN cables in Punto: black pink and pink white. I don't know if there will be the same cable colors in ducato ... maybe someone knows and will prompt.

    Thank you for the hint.
The chances of finding the colors of can cables in Ducato are poor, but I will try to search the way you do, body or clocks.
    .
I am still thinking about the third plug, white with 3 cables.
In the title radio in the socket they are NC, mass, NC.
Quirk. Cables are nowhere nowhere, and Can needs none.
Nothing cut, bundle with factory plugs.

This radio must have a Cana connected. Shows Code Error differently. It can be set to play without code and cana, but it will always turn off after 20 minutes of playing. Since there are no cana cables in the bottom cube, it just means that there was another radio in the factory without can installation.

Yes, that's right. The factory put some Pioneers and Sony + monitor with Caratec camera.
This factory is Dethleffs because the vehicle is a camper. I can't look at this syphoid-designer monster that looks like a mistake, that's why I'm ready to turn on the radio every 20 minutes, if it looks like I can't reconcile with the look of this puzzle and some Pioneer like in a courier bus ...
Well, see for yourself, this view in the car is unacceptable and when buying I did not think that this can be a problem.

This is the interface from CAN to analog, here you need the reverse from analog to CAN.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the installation of a Delphi F250FL radio in a 2014 Ducato, which is encountering a CAN communication error. The user reports that the radio displays a code error due to missing CAN connections in the A ISO plug, specifically pins 1 (CAN B) and 3 (CAN A). Attempts to connect the radio to the OBD socket have not resolved the issue, and the user experiences traction control error messages upon starting the engine. Responses suggest that the radio requires a CAN connection to function properly, and alternatives such as connecting to the body or clocks are proposed. The user expresses frustration with the factory-installed radio and is willing to accept limited functionality for aesthetic reasons.
