[Solved] Erbauer ERI6041 Impact Driver Not Working: Troubleshooting Switch or Electronics Issue

Today a colleague brought the Erbauer ERI6041 key to work. The device refused to work. It just suddenly stopped responding to the switch. Complete second to second zero. The battery was checked in another tool and is functional. There are a lot of topics on the network (including here on an electrode) with broken switches in Erbauer keys. However, I am curious how to check if it is the fault of the switch or electronics?

Look for cold flights on board. What is this strange solder in the photo with 2 plates in front of the yellow wire? Isn't it loose?
You can check the switch with a multimeter by measuring the current on the contacts.

And in the second photo, on the close-up of the switch you can see a short circuit, with a thicker black wire?

I ended up replacing the whole key gutters with a switch like this:

Bought at a popular auction site for PLN 20 with delivery. In total, everything works: change of direction and speed control. Only the LED is off but it does not bother anyone.

Now you only need to mechanically fit this switch into the device housing. It is already a task for the owner of this equipment, he likes such games. I will try to get some photos from the progress of the work and the final effect.

The above author's solution is cost-effective because the original switch is not available and not very durable.
The question was how to quickly check electronics? If only the switch is raining, then the LED backlight usually works. If it does not light, it is rather a fallen tile and you can buy it for 35 PLN on OLX:
