    Hello.
Yesterday they cut off my electricity. I forgot to pay my bill. I paid right after cutting off the electricity. Today I called the supplier and the emergency room to make sure that the contract was accepted by the team to turn on the electricity. They received the order. My question is: what is the risk of breaking the seal from the fuse in front of the meter? I would like to add that the box on the cage is not secured and everyone has access to it. The lady in the emergency room told me that it is possible that they will turn on the electricity only on Monday, because they have 48 hours to do so. I am thinking of recording a video showing the odometer reading and a photo of the seal as evidence. What do you think about it?

And you couldn't ask them how much you will pay for that seal?

The cost of the seal is PLN 35. But is there a different penalty for it?

    Yeah, I already believe it.
Second, there is a fee for resuming deliveries.

This, unfortunately, depends on the interpretation of the ZE. They have the right to impose the penalty, they have the right to withdraw from it. What will they choose? Only God knows that.

I can always deny it, because the cabinet has been open for several months and everyone has access to it.

I wouldn't count on it. A few things have already been described here on the forum ...

In that case, I have to wait 4 days in the apartment without electricity until an electrician comes to remove the seal and switch the fuse? This is absurd. The more that they did it without notifying me about it in advance.

Failure to pay one bill will not result in disconnection of the power supply.

No way. First, there is a warning, then a warning, and then there is a continuation to which the supplier is obliged by law. He can't even do otherwise, or he would break the law himself.

And reminders are sent. Nobody will stop delivery the day after the payment deadline.

By the way, it is not the seal on the switch lever (put on when the delivery is suspended) that is the problem, but the lack of the seal on the housing.

And who is responsible for securing it against unauthorized access?

And as if what the penalty would be for breaking the seal, only NPE.

    No exaggeration, please.
The absence of a seal on the casing of the security device is not yet an NPE.

It's best to call and ask for the total cost. You will not miss it anyway, and you will sleep well, knowing what awaits you. The cost of resealing is this, provided that you first report that you want to do it and justify it somehow. In the case of lawlessness, they may add some administrative cost, in addition to the "activation" fee, or whatever it is called, but I mean reconnection to the network.

Now they have a basis for installing you a prepayment meter. You pay for the invoice, enter the code and you have electricity in the apartment. You do not pay in time, you have an Egyptian darkness at home.

Nobody informed me about anything. No letter, e-mail, phone or SMS, they came in and off. In that case, I have the right to break the seal if no one informed me. A friend of mine works in energa and said that "they have such a b ... el, that it is very possible that I did not receive a notification, because there have been such cases more than once"

Kituś bajduś for the needs of your position. I recommend reading the Supplier's Tariff and then writing bitter regrets. This is not a Murator forum.

For me, it is normal to turn off the electricity for overdue payments without prior notice.
A private company deals with it and when they send a team to a given area, they put everything on the paper.
They very often exclude even those who have already paid, because they have receipts from a few days ago and they do not know that it is paid.
As the switch-off consists only of switching off the security, after sending the transfer confirmation, you can easily get the permission to break the seal and turn on the power.
So drinking bajduś looks different in different regions, we wrote about it more than once.

And he did not have to, there is no such requirement.

Call the hotline, present the case and find out if you can. But if you took your time with the payment, they are in no hurry either.
And leave the brothel to them, the penalty they will impose on you is probably 3.5 thousand.

You can always call and ask if the bill is already settled (whether the transfer has been received), if so, ask politely if you can turn on the electricity yourself and leave the seal for inspection.

No way. Bills are settled by the clearing center, and exclusions are made by an external company on request. Can you imagine the circulation of documents?
I know a case when a cleaning lady asked the district director (his cleaner who cleaned his office) to stop the cut-off, because she had already paid and had the document, but the plant director had no such power, because the machine was set in motion. The team took the order and it was over, they had to carry it out.

Whether or not it can do it depends on the internal organization in the company. But that's probably not the point, because my colleague anet870 had a good excuse to ask about the possibility of breaking the seals.

In my town, PLN 50 for installing a new seal after reporting a blown fuse and declaration of replacement on your own. PLN 15,000 for the alleged theft of electricity reported by the person "writing down the meters" (breaking the seal without notification).

As "retrofood" wrote, the order goes through 3 institutions in my region. Yesterday I called the energy supplier again and the lady on the hotline said that breaking the seal will be punished with a penalty of 16,000 and above. Today at 2 p.m. they put my electricity on, but I didn't break the seal.

The user expresses concern about the potential penalties for breaking the seal, especially since the access to the fuse box is not secured. Responses indicate that penalties can vary significantly, with some users citing costs ranging from PLN 35 for resealing to potential fines exceeding PLN 16,000 for unauthorized access or tampering. The importance of contacting the electricity supplier for clarification on penalties and procedures is emphasized, as well as the necessity of proper notification before disconnection.
