    Hello.
How to dismount the ignition (body), Golf V 1.9, 2004, the steering wheel has already been removed. Now I have a problem because I do not know if I need to drill those original screws fixing the ignition switch to get the whole thing out? Ie. steering angle sensor and everything that is around the ignition switch?
Thanks in advance for the info.

I did it like that, a thin mallet, a hammer and, hitting the screws, I turned left.

Thanks ;) and after unscrewing these screws everything will come down from the steering column? Because I understand that it is impossible to disconnect the ignition from, for example, the steering angle sensor until it is removed from the steering column, no?

Here you need a lot of patience. There is no secret method only the one that the colleague described earlier. Sometimes it will unscrew quickly and without any problems and sometimes you lose patience. Nothing but good luck what I'm doing here.

You do not need to dismantle any ignition.
The steering column driver will be dismounted and everything you want will go down.

The original screws should be treated with a cutter. Two blows and they walk with their fingers.
