    Hi,
for a week I have a problem with LTE internet with no data limit in the PLUS network, namely the download and upload speed decreased from 20Mb / s download to 4Mb / s and 10Mb / s to 2Mb / s upload. The equipment I have is a Huawei E5573 modem and a Dual LTE / 4G 15dBi antenna. The signal strength is 3 LTE bars and the frequency is set rigidly in the 1800Mhz band in the E5186 Toolbox program.

I have about 6-7 km to the nearest BTS, it is BTS Wólka Brzezińska - gm. Goworowo

The steps I have taken are:
    - device reset
    - I tried different antenna settings
    - and checked that nothing was damaged during the recent storms.

    Observations:
when I turn on any speedtest, it shows the speed of 20-30Mb / s at the beginning, then it drops systematically to 4-5Mb / s, the same happens with sending, but here the speed drops from 10-12Mb / s to about 2-3Mb / s.

This internet does not allow me to work and hence the question for you, dear forum members, what should I do to return the internet to its original form.

    Best wishes :)

Maybe you actually exceeded the basic transfer package in Plus? For me it is the same, I have the option "no data limit" and after exceeding the contracted 30GB, the speed drops to 5Mb / s.

Thank you for your answer, I have 50GB of the basic package and I will not use it, I have about 60 Mb / s download and about 15 Mb / s upload, 20Mb / s download speed and about 10Mb / s upload after using these 50GB. Is it possible that Operator / BTS deliberately restricts me?

I have such a provision in the contract about the decrease in speed after exceeding the basic package.

Of course, Plus, after exceeding the data limit, it cuts the speed for the first time and then again, just like you do, for example 5 / 2Mb / s. Consequently, it can even use a 0.5Mbps funnel if you continue to collect a lot of data. You have 50GB at max, then about 100GB at 20 / 10Mbps, then 5 / 2Mbps at about 170GB may be 0, 5 / 0.2 Mb / s up to 32Kb / s. This is the operation of the FUP, with no FUP rules whatsoever, and this is indicative. Plus, nothing is guaranteed and the funnels are allocated by I see them. This is allowed by their regulations under which you signed. There is no LTE internet in Plus with no data and speed limits.

Thank you for the answer, since we have already established what is happening, now maybe you have an idea how to restore the previous speed?

Just wait until the end of the billing period.

The problem disappears with the new data packet. PLUS are scurlesins :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing a significant drop in LTE internet speeds on the PLUS network while using a Huawei E5573 modem and a Dual LTE/4G 15dBi antenna. Initially, the user reported download speeds of 20Mb/s dropping to 4Mb/s and upload speeds from 10Mb/s to 2Mb/s. Despite having a no data limit plan, responses indicated that the user might be affected by the operator's Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which reduces speeds after exceeding a certain data threshold. Suggestions included waiting until the end of the billing period for speeds to normalize, as the issue typically resolves with the renewal of the data package.
