    Hello

I live near the city. It is 4km-3km in total. One way. In the second, the village was killed with nails (like mine: rotfl :)

    My location. https://www.google.pl/maps/place/por.+Francis...m1!1s0x471ec399f763687d:0xec939499d5f139499d5

I use the Internet in the PLUS network, purchased by Cyfrowy Polsat, and a Huawei E3372 modem plugged directly into the USB of the computer.

The download jumps from 0.50 Mbps to 10Mbps
    After 00: 00/01: 00 I have a minimum internet connection of 7Mbps-10Mbps +
But I would also like to use rationally during the day.

    Signal level
    RSSI: -75dBm / -81dBm
    RSRP: -116dBm
    In mode: LTE only
    I only have one dash.

    And now my questions.

    1. (The most important)

Which antenna should I buy for my modem and where is the best?

    2.

Does the length of the antenna-to-modem cable matter?

Because I would like to mount the antenna on the roof or chimney, and as you know, I do not live on the chimney :D
Through the vents and into the room.
The antenna is more for download than upload. (I say because I heard there are different antennas and different specifications)

    3. My sample speedtests.

Best Outdoor Antenna for Huawei E3372 Modem (PLUS/Cyfrowy Polsat, 4km from City)

Best Outdoor Antenna for Huawei E3372 Modem (PLUS/Cyfrowy Polsat, 4km from City)

    4.
    Such a question.

Whenever a modem (usb) is connected to the usb 3.0 port, it is written to connect to USB 3.0 superspeed

    What's up?

Thanks in advance for answering the questions.

PS If I had to check something or something, I would also ask you to explain immediately how green I am in it.

The strength of the received signal has a significant impact on the transmission speed. An external, directional antenna, the most recommended, but the lead cable, if thin, no longer than about 5 to 6 m, if thick, with less attenuation, it can be 2x longer ...

    Do you recommend any antenna?
About less attenuation? What does it mean?
What if the cable is longer than you say (is it indicated there)?

And why 3 dots at the end? It's like answering me casually: /

Location link not working, where are you from? In CP you use LTE1800 Mobyland or LTE800 Sferia, how far to the nearest active BTS? The choice of operator and equipment was poor (you know the pseudo unlimited, you have exceeded the basic one, do you have a funnel?) Signal level good, worse with quality. The speeds probably do not knock down the heavily loaded BTS, in Plus / CP it is the norm in many locations. The 1800MHz antenna cable as short as possible (the attenuation of an ordinary H-155 is about 0.4dB / m) at 800MHz can be longer (attenuation by half). Antenna selection depends on LTE frequency.

    Sir, I'm green xD

The location is working properly I have already improved but if it didn't work it was a wet ul. żukowskiego 6 (there is 16 in google) Mazowieckie.

    2. I don't know if Mobyland or spheria: / Is it going to be checked somehow?
    3. I have about 4-6 km to BTS
    4. Funnel? I should understand that if I run out of data package and what speed do I have after using the limit?
I have 25GB of internet and after using it I have / up to 5m

The cable must be long because I want to mount the antenna on the roof, and I have a room on the first floor.
Through the vents, he wants to run the cable to the room and to the computer.

Range probably from BTS LTE1800Mobyland in Radzymin, Jana Pawła II 60. Recommended antenna http://www.cybertech.com.pl/p130,antena-dualna-lte-4g-15dbi-do-huawei-e3272-e3372-mimo .html, cable max. 10m in order to avoid losses on it. Funnel up to 5 Mb / s, but in practice the operator uses as much as he wants. Up to 32kb / s, at any time after the basic package. According to I can see that is FUP.

I do not understand this sentence. I do not associate the FUP abbreviation either: /

I think 10m is enough for me.

Thanks for the help. I will order an antenna and connect. I think I should have by the weekend.

If I had problems with the antenna or the configuration or something like that, I will write it here

You can see that you did not read the rules of the promotion when you took that lousy Power LTE in CP. It is internet with a guaranteed limit of 25GB and full speed, allowable on a given BTS. Then the operator will decide according to recognition of your speed, up to 5Mb / s, it can be 1Mb / s, 0.5Mb / s and even 32kb / s. Plus / CP eagerly takes advantage of it and cuts it as it pleases. The FUP regulations are designed in such a way that you have no chance of a complaint. Start by reading what you signed up to and then check out http://plusforum.pl/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=14191&start=8715 Extremely informative reading, i.e. how not to take the Internet from the LTE pseudo-leader.

Now it remains to use this Power LTE, maybe you will not cut so drastically. It's probably a SmartDom service, it's a shame you didn't take the B593s-22 instead of the E3372. A router worth PLN 400-450 and a modem from PLN 130. Take Play for the future. You have LTE coverage in this network with BTS LTE1800 in Radzymin, JP II 8. In Play, you can have unlimited internet on LTE even for free (RBM II card new for PLN 9). All you need is LTE equipment and range. In addition, in voice offers for ridiculous money and in pre-paid tariffs, i.e. the Play Internet pre-paid tariff, for PLN 45 unlimited for PLN 45 for 3G and LTE. Play guarantees a minimum of 100GB in them at full speed, then a possible 2Mb / s funnel. In practice, transfers of 200-300GB without a funnel. And this is the real leader of LTE in Poland, Plus / CP is the bottom and meter of silt.

No, this is not a SmartDom service. This is just the internet. I was ordering over the phone.

Oh well. If plus does not improve within 2 years, he will terminate the contract and before he signs something next. I will ask you for help :)

You guys are a great forum. On another, they refused to write back to me.

Antenna ordered. Now wait and wait for good results.

Hello. Well, I bought an antenna that was recommended to me by mothers451 and the antenna improved the range from 1 line to 3, but the download is still confusing and the upload from 1mb / s jumped to 25/30 mb / s

There are 2 cables from the antenna and only one is connected to the modem because I broke one connector by accident.

Is it possible that one cable is connected to the modem? The antenna is connected on the roof, on the chimney.

    Hello
I will stick to the topic.
I have a Huawei E3372 modem, a TP-link MR3420v2 router with Gargoyle openwrt loaded. Location: Hołubla. External antenna ATK-20 10m cable. Internet CP.
The LTE signal has appeared for some time - 4 bars, RSSI -71 dBm, RSSP -94dBm.
    On speedtest I have pings 38-60, DW 5-11Mb / s, UP 0.20 Mb / s.

I do not know what happened with the upload, but when there was only HSDPA + download and upload coverage, they had similar values, about 3 Mb / s.

Will it be possible to replace the antenna with an LTE antenna? If so, what for?
BTS shows that only the 900 MHz band operates in the area of Plus / CP. I would like to add that before connecting the current antenna, the RSSI was about 93 dBm.

In the direction of which BTS do you have this ATK-20 set? You previously used UMTS900 Aero2 over 3G on Plus. Now it is LTE that is the range of LTE800 from BTS Sferia.

The antenna is set to the BTS Plus in Paprotnia.
I repeat the question is it worth replacing the antenna?

Since LTE appeared, the router hangs several times a day.

Force the modem to connect only in 3G or only in LTE. Permits for BTS LTE800 Sferia in Mordy, Suchoźreby, Repki, Sokołów and Siedlce. One of them probably works. Direct the antenna one by one at them, I suspect that it works in Repki. ATK-20 can also run on 800MHz, hence you get LTE800 coverage. But only in one polarity, hence lower speeds (without MIMO).

    Hello,
I have a similar problem today, the Huawei B315 router came and it turned out that the range is only a few meters outside the home. Then you probably need to order an antenna and I have no idea which one. The town is Opypy (near Grodzisk Mazowiecki). internet with orange lte mobile. Can anybody help?

Start by downloading http://www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h or https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1978345/E5186/E5186%20Toolbox_latest.rar in these programs you log in on B315 and you can force LTE band. You set LTE800 and check BTS CID and LTE signal parameters. You do speedtest. Show screen, same for LTE1800. Orange in this area uses the LTE1800NetWorks network, permits in Grodzisk, Batory 23 and Okręna. There is also a permit in Książenice, but you have to check if it works, other LTE800 Orange in Odrano-Wola. Sooner, Orange launched its own LTE there. The obtained data will allow you to choose the antenna and set it properly. Testing with the B315 outside.

    Hello
I would like to connect to the topic.
I have E3372 in Plus LTE since yesterday, it works with DWR-118.
My location is Zagruszany province. Podlasie, near Białystok.
The modem works in the router located on the first floor of a single-family house, yesterday evening after connecting the equipment, I had a range of 2 lines out of 5 possible, RSSI -71 to -81 depends on the room upstairs. I did not go around the yard, the weather is bad, but I am thinking to put the modem with the router in the attic and connect the external antenna. Please advise which antenna you recommend.

Yesterday at speedtest I achieved a download of 2-5 mb / s and a upload in the same range, this morning around 8.
If more data is needed, I'll be home in the evening and provide it

And what version of E3372 is it? Does it come from Plus, regular or HiLink? Are you using LTE800Sferia or LTE1800Aero2? Why this bad idea for Plus in this location and with such equipment? RSSi does not matter, this parameter says nothing about the LTE signal parameters, just like dashes

I will give the modem version in the evening when I get home after work (it comes from Plus), I do not know which transmitter I use (how to check it, I do not have LTE telephony) I have a similar distance to both. Plus, because only this operator was able to check whether LTE is available at all in this location, Please tell me if something can be improved.

    I have a modem E3372h-153
Now, ie 20:15, which is rather the top, I have such parameters in the best place in the apartment
    RSSI -77dBm
    RSRP -103dBm

    Modem hardware version: CL2E3372HM
    Modem firmware version: 22.200.09.00.1202

    I warmly welcome.

I watched your discussion and the problem is close to me. It just so happens that I have a similar problem when it comes to choosing the antenna for the modem and if it is possible I attach it to the topic above.

For now, I am using the standard HUAWEI E173U-2 modem and my maximum internet speed (I use the NJU MOBILE internet called NJU INTERNET with LTE with a data limit of up to 40 GB / PLN 29.00 / month), download: 5.60 Mb / s and sending : 4.06 Mb / s (but my modem does not support LTE and these are not LTE speeds). So an acceptable standard.

I inquired at NJU MOBILE about the maximum speed of their LTE internet on my NJU INTERNET and was told their maximum LTE speed was 112 Mb / s (LTE) and their LTE average speed was 75 Mb / s (LTE). So far my old modem does not support LTE and I have not checked this fact yet.

On days (until the end of this week) I want to buy a modem for LTE: HUAWEI E3372h-153 from this Allegro auction with the number: 6577372391

I will buy the modem at 100%, but I am considering an antenna for it, because I just want to have a good antenna for years, if necessary, if the LTE signal is weak.

I am considering 2 purchase options. I am thinking of buying a rather disliked antenna from this Allegro auction with the number: 6024035853.

I know it has very good reviews on a foreign site: GearBest (for 18 reviews and a 4.9 / 5 rating, it's not bad in my opinion, so it's probably not that bad). You have to enter there: LF - ANT4G01 4G LTE SMA Plug 49dBi MIMO Antenna

I know that CyberTech antennas recommended by the user of mothers451 are also good.

However, it is very large, and I need an antenna whose cable can be up to 1 meter (yes, one meter). Simply, the USB modem will be plugged into the desktop computer at the front and the antenna cables will be plugged into the USB modem for 1 or 2 antenna ports, so a cable up to 50 cm would be enough if it is to be placed on the ground, and if higher, then 2 meters of cable they are enough.

CyberTech is a bit big and you also need to buy the appropriate connectors for it, because it even says that it supports modems: antenna only with an FME (f) connector without a modem connector. And this antenna is such that it can be mounted outside and it is even more advisable, and I only need an internal antenna. So I would be asking for something good, but internal.

The problem is that the Allegro antenna that I showed above has 49dBi and will it not be too much and nothing will argue if the nearest transmitter is approx. 200 meters from me? I suspect that even without an antenna, LTE internet can work well for me, because from the nearest ORANGE transmitter (the internet in "my" NJU MOBILE belongs to ORANGE) I have 0.20 km, i.e. not more than 200 meters. This is the result straight from the beta website. btsearch. pl.

Below is a featured image for btsearch insiders:

Best Outdoor Antenna for Huawei E3372 Modem (PLUS/Cyfrowy Polsat, 4km from City)

My location is: ul. Chopina 10A, 71-450 Szczecin

Therefore, as you can see, the distance to the transmitter is about 200 meters (let's say even a maximum of 250 meters).

It is the ORANGE LTE 1800 (1197) transmitter at ul. Swan as seen on the map.

And the question: Which antenna would be the best in my situation? 10dBi? 11dBi? 15dBi? 28dBi? or bigger? or maybe smaller?

Citing a short article from the site: modem antenna. pl

"Knowing the exact distances of the transmitters from our location, we can determine which antenna will be the best for our needs. Below are some examples of rules that should be followed:

    - Traditional 11dBi antenna - recommended for urban areas where the distance from the transmitter does not exceed 3 km.
    - Traditional 15dBi antenna - dedicated to LTE internet, where the distance from the transmitter is about 5-6km. "

My Szczecin "areas" are of course urban.

Thank you very much in advance to all "experts" (and not only) for all help and good advice in choosing the right antenna for my modem and any critical and very sincere comments about my choices. This is most welcome on your part here, as your answers may even help many future generations :)

Thank you in advance for a relatively quick response :please: If I forgot something, please ask and I will add the required answer.

    greetings :sm9:

@ sowa198310 check if the E3373h-153 from Plus works with the LTEWatchH and Toolbox programs linked above. Will they show signal parameters and BTS data. Modem directly on the computer. And in general, give it back as soon as possible, the set is bad, thank Plus. Plus has licenses for LTE1800Aero2 in Białostoczek, LTE800Sferia on it, and LTE800Sferii in Zabłudów. LTE1800 Aero2, if it works, is usually overloaded. LTE800 spheres with 5MHz is an LTE shell. Low DL with higher UL is proof of BTS overload. In this area, LTE Internet for home for 59.90 in Orange and a router with LTE-A, i.e. MF286 for PLN 0, is taken. The router itself is worth PLN 600. LTE coverage in Orange with BTS LTE800 Orange in Zabłudów. Possibly antenna for 800MHz or 2xATK-10 / 800-980. Buy an Orange card for PLN 5, register you will get a 100GB bonus, and if you provide your address details, another 100GB will be added and test the E3372 on this one. you will compare how Orange works for you. Plus is the worst mobile operator.

Matek451 thank you, in the evening I will check these programs, yesterday after 10 pm I checked and actually DL 11-15, UP around 1, but I have already put the modem in the attic on an extended USB cable, near the ridge, i.e. around 8.5 m above sea level, range further 2-3 dashes.
Unfortunately, I have to stay with Plus, a contract for a company connected with a telephone signed in the office, there will be a penalty for breaking :-) As if I managed to get around DL 5 during the day and evening it would be good, I do not download anything but YT with fairy tales for children and for us with my wife the mail and basic websites.
I understand that in terms of the antenna only when I check the BTS I am connecting to.

In Plus, there is an option to test the contract in the Terms and Conditions of the contract, regardless of whether the contract in the salon, office or remotely, you can cancel it within 14 days. The counselor is doing you a horse and he put a crap on you, not the equipment. Resign from him and from this contract in Plus. Sample regulations http://www.plus.pl/documents/16/7dababe5-963b-4f62-9776-191c45b32703 read your own, there should also be a test option.

LTE800Sferii works poorly by definition, because the 5MHz bandwidth in MIMO does not allow much, the network is loaded at the peak, 10Mb / s under BTS at noon is unreliable. In Białostoczek it is already a massacre and it does not matter whether it is LTE1800Aero2 or LTE800 Sferia. This is not the operator for this area and it could be even worse. Go to a business consultant and throw his shit in his face, he fooled you so nice. An operator without range, with a jammed network and equipment worth 150 zlotys, for which you pay as for grain.
