Hello. I want to sign a contract with one of these operators but I don't know myself who will get better internet quality. Wants. Order 150mbps internet and make this speed more or less consistent and that there would be a very small ping. Price doesn't matter just wants good internet. Two years ago I had internet from netia and I was not happy constantly jumping internet speed from 50Mbps to 20Mbps or 10 Mbps and ping 37ms, it ended my contract. Now I would like to sign a new contract but I do not know if something has changed and how is the quality of the Vectra internet to netia better or is it better? I am asking for opinions. I will add that I have a Vectra sales point in the estate.

Here, one could write a doctoral dissertation and not say in a few words how a given supplier works and in a specific location. Often these networks are not created by a given supplier but taken over as part of a larger investment to purchase smaller operators. In addition, local conditions (the number of clients and the infrastructure itself) can have a colossal impact on the operation of a given link or communication node. It's best to ask your neighbors how the service works for him.

Now, probably, every operator, apart from entering the 'to' speed on the contract, must also specify the minimum speed. Of course, you won't find it on leaflets or commercials, but I would start by comparing these values.

@ Mateo89 In what technology does netia connect in your area? If this is VDSL2 then probably nothing has changed and will not change quickly, higher pings on VDSL2 connections are normal and you will not do anything about it. Unfortunately, this is key information because netia connects in ADSL2 +, VDSL2, ETTH, FTTH, HFC. I had netia for 5 years - I recently gave up because ADSL2 + today is a bad thing, otherwise everything was unqualified. From what you write, I conclude that you are on copper and then the sense of being associated with the operator for two years is zero and this situation will not change, and remember even if fiber appears, no one will change the technology during the term contract. So the choice seems to be obvious, but to be sure, check how your case looks by contacting the hotline.

My suggestion - start with Vectra. Ask the technician to install the router in bridge mode during installation and make sure you have a public IP and have a look at the signal at:

If he gets Technicolor TC7230, unfortunately, but he won't even suspect the signal parameters, in this new modem-router it is no longer possible.

I can recommend Vectre from myself, I have it probably from 6 years and during this time of 3 failures that I reported.

Thank you colleagues for any answers. I will probably read the contract exactly twice and as for the same quality and speed of the Internet, I will actually try to order online and check if it is better than I had n Netia from which I was very dissatisfied because the upload tragedy and download speed much lower than the seller declares for this very high ping. I did not know that when ordering online I can withdraw from the contract within 14 days, I will probably use it and thanks for the hint.

Topic summary

The discussion centers on comparing the internet quality, consistency, and ping of Vectra and Netia, particularly for a 150Mbps plan. Users express concerns about Netia's previous performance, citing issues with fluctuating speeds and high ping. Recommendations include checking local service conditions, understanding the technology used (e.g., VDSL2, ADSL2+), and considering a trial period for online orders, which allows cancellation within 14 days if unsatisfactory. Users suggest starting with Vectra, ensuring proper installation and configuration of the modem, and being vigilant about contract terms to avoid hidden costs.
