For many months I have had a problem with the Vectra (30Mbit) internet, it just disconnects while surfing. Recently, technicians have replaced the entire infrastructure (cables, switchboards / boxes? In the basement) and even the riser that goes to my apartment and the socket in the wall.

Previously, modems were replaced, now I have Technicolor EPC3928S (allegedly the most proven and reliable). Technicians claimed that files / packages got lost during transmission or something ;) before replacing the installation and now it should be approx.

I use a desktop computer, cable connection and wifi laptop. When the internet pops up, both are not there. Despite this, I brought two other laptops to eliminate hardware on my side and the same. I took my desktop computer to a different address - the internet was running for 2 days without a problem, the network card driver was the latest from 09/2017.

I read topics about the Vectra internet on the forum but they are quite old, in 2012-2014. how can I collect some useful data that could help to solve my problem, what can I check for myself and what do I have to ask the supplier for. Today, between 12.45 and 12.50, my connection was severed six times :( .
Will I get any parameters with WinMTR 0.92 (different?) That I could put here and evaluate?

since you've eliminated the fault of the router, wifi (the same thing happens on the cable) and end devices such as PC and laptop - then the fault of 99% lies only with the supplier, i.e. Vectra, you will not fix anything - you only need to call and tire them , they have something wrongly set up - if the problem of breaking the link would occur regularly in the same time intervals - it would be easier for you to tell them the obvious cause yourself, otherwise it would be looking for a needle in the pile of their cables and settings.

I let go of WinMTR at noon, it was about 60 minutes and it didn't finish, I had to leave, I put the computer to sleep now it works for 20 minutes (continuation) and the "Sent" and "Recv" values keep increasing, is there something from this screen?

Technicians have been to my place many times, their instruments indicate that it's ok. Can it be the fault of the local Vectra headquarters, servers, I don't know what else ...?

ask a neighbor / friend who also has internet from them or has / had such problems - if it was a problem of the local Vectra base, it would apply to more people in this region - and if only you, you were either unlucky, or when connecting something in settings, and to this day correcting it can not find.

write them a letter or take them to the Customer Service Center - that you have notorious failures and no one can fix them and you demand the termination of the contract due to their fault in order to change the operator, scare UOKiK (by the way, you could already write to them about intervention in the event of so many failures you have) - at my grandparents good 7 years ago, when Netia failed, it was only the application to the Voivodeship Office of Competition and Consumer Protection that settled the matter in 2 weeks, Netia gained strength and repaired it, earlier they pretended that their technicians were repairing them.

on this screen what you have there is no connection to the host at all.

In the whole building, only me and one more person have internet from Vectra, others mainly have TV. This net neighbor is mainly used to receive mail ... old lady.

Earlier I wrote, now I do not see the point, tomorrow they will replace the modem for the last time, if there is no difference, I terminate the contract, but I have a problem with the new provider. Vectra has contracts for an indefinite period (practical), Netia and Orange are "economical" for 24 months and still more expensive than Vectra (PLN 39 / month).

Plus, if other wireless download restrictions, I have no experience in this, I do not know how long the subscription will last :(

How can it not? At that time the internet was working :) , this is how it ended:

    Is ping 82ms (# 3) too much?

Currently, after an hour of work (restarting WinMTR) I have this:
Vectra Internet Disconnects Frequently: Technicolor EPC3928S Modem, 30Mbit, Infrastructure Replaced
Do I understand it correctly? - if Sent and Recv have the same values, it means,
"sending is equal to receiving" and nothing is lost?

on the FIRST screen there is information that the tested host was unreachable (literally) and as much as 99% of packets were lost. On the second screen it is very good and stable.

ping also depends on the other party. check, for example, has google.pl or wp.pl what you have. I have less than 50 ms on mobile lte play and less than 10 ms on my home fiber, but this is important mainly for online games and comfort of use, etc., and the stability of the link itself makes no difference.

if you have an indefinite time, terminate the contract after the last attempt, because it will be a fight with windmills.

if you do not have another cable or Orange fiber optic cable, for example, T-mobile home internet for PLN 45 and give a modem with a router. the only LTE net with an unlimited guarantee and no hidden hooks like others on 100 GB. Test a week and leave them or not. You do not lose anything. Pity nerves on vectre in your case. Unless they manage to improve somehow last time.

Wow, and I thought all non-wired ones have download restrictions. I'm going to T-MObile tomorrow :) .

We have a dozen or so attempts behind us ..., tomorrow we will replace the router and still try the internal cable in the apartment, unless it works :) .
Thanks for the tip from T-Mobile :) .

They write differently about the T-Mobile network, especially the latter do not fill us with optimism :( .

depends on the location. enter "t-mobile home internet" in google and see that almost everyone praises and shows speed tests and large amounts of downloaded data.

you have up to 30 days to evaluate whether to stay or not :) and the data limit isn't even hidden there. you have to decide for yourself. There are 2 options for max speeds of 20 mbs and 70 mbs.

See also home options with play and polsat but there you already have hidden limits of 100 GB and the price is the same.

if vectra is ok, leave them. affordable 5 PLN better and without a contract. as long as you have 0% loss, it means the link was stable.

    Practical :)
They replaced the modem yesterday and knock on the cannons, let me not confess.

Topic summary

The user has been experiencing frequent internet disconnections with Vectra's 30Mbit service, despite multiple infrastructure replacements and the installation of a Technicolor EPC3928S modem. The issue persists across different devices, including a desktop and laptops, indicating a potential problem with the service provider rather than the user's equipment. Responses suggest that the fault likely lies with Vectra's network settings or local infrastructure, as only a few users in the building are affected. Recommendations include contacting Vectra for resolution, considering contract termination, and exploring alternative providers like T-Mobile, which offers more favorable terms and a trial period for their services. Recent modem replacement has shown some improvement, but the user remains cautious about the overall reliability of the service.
