Hello, after separating the display from the frame, I separated the tape from the back of the display. I torn off something that I show in the photos. A vertical white stripe was formed. Did this ribbon affect this belt or did I do something else wrong? Please help

The tape gently peeled off the display and stopped conducting - on the top, on the other hand, these displays are very delicate, if you still move the tape - you bend it, new stripes will appear

With these tapes you have to be very gentle and it is best to unstick it right in front of the press itself, because the more it works, the greater the risk that something will stop touching.

When separating from the display, I watered with isopropanol, is this a mistake? in the first photo you can see a torn narrow ribbon that merged into one, with the black one underneath.

I didn't do the S8, but I experimented with the edges, I will say one thing, they require 100X more focus, patience and delicacy compared to regular displays. This torn tape is probably responsible for the touch, and the strip on the display is a matter of this thick tape detaching from the display itself - A very common problem.

Touch works over the entire surface. This ribbon looks like the backlight, but the backlight also works. I had to peel off the tape from the display because I use OCA patches in a vacuum press
