Hello. Brother DCP-J100 printer Does not print in black. Original inks. She stopped printing in black immediately. On a dismantled printer, you can see during the cleaning procedure that it draws the ink from the container (it moves in the tube). The printout does not give any trace of black ink. Please, suggest what's wrong

A possible problem is a dried head.
As far as I am not mistaken in this model as in most Brothers head is independent of the ink.
The carcasses only have bytes, if they do not print too long, the mascara dries out in the head.
You can remove the head and take it to a good computer store, they will throw it into the ultrasonic tub and it should work, although usually not as well as the head before it dries.
If there has not been a long break in the printer's use, the problem may be somewhere else, or the ink was of poor quality and stuffed the head.

as I wrote during the system cleaning, you can see that the ink is sucked from the container and flows through the hose supplying it to the head, and cleaning is passing the ink through the nozzles. So I think it is not a dried head

It is therefore necessary to check whether the black ink tube enters the head or does not pour directly into the pampers, because I have seen such cases.
Did it happen after replacing the ink?
Is there no air in the tubes?

It happened while working with the original ink. Replacing the ink did not help. During cleaning, you can see that the ink moves in a hose towards the head.

Is the air in these tubes or the ink itself?
Do not have a puddle under an ink printer?
Did you allow any service cleaning?

Small bubbles of air appear in all snakes. Test prints for colors are ideal. Anywhere! you can not see ink stains either inside or outside the printer. 90% Pampers are white. I have been cleaning the service many times. On the printout the smallest trace of black ink. Perfect colors!

You have to try to add some liquid to the ink to clear the heads.

During service cleaning Black ink is drawn from the container through the hose and enters the head. I understand that he must! pass through the black ink nozzles. Something wrong with the control of the nozzles? or with the head itself?

If the head is clogged, this is the symptom.
You need to water it overnight in a cleaning liquid or put the liquid with the ink and leave it overnight in the cleaning system.

    Problem solved
It helped to dismantle the head and soak in the liquid for clearing.
    Thank you for good advice.

Topic summary

The Brother DCP-J100 printer is experiencing a failure to print in black despite using original inks. Users have suggested that the issue may stem from a clogged print head, which can occur if the printer has not been used for an extended period. Although the ink is observed moving through the tubes during cleaning, it does not reach the nozzles effectively. Potential solutions include soaking the print head in a cleaning solution overnight to clear any blockages. After following this advice, the original poster successfully resolved the issue.
