    Hello,

I have a question for people who have used or still use monitors to work with a computer. Which monitors are less tiring eyes and have more reliable colors and no smudging effect? The question is whether it is worth replacing the EIZO monitor with IPS for a new one, another one from EWV? Unfortunately, I did not find the answer in the forum when it comes to which monitors tire the eyes more. Does anyone have experience with this?

All monitors tire their eyes. I use two prompts and I'm happy. Although both do not belong to the latest technological solutions (I wonder if this talk about these technologies is free ... something is not just dimming marketing). Nec 1990SXi - the monitor is over 5 years old and the SpectraView 242. Both are not the latest, connected to the Matrox card and there is no smudging, eyes do not hurt.

From what I've read, EWV is an abbreviation for Enchanced Viewign Angles and it's just TN-ka on steroids. In other words, worse viewing angles and color reproduction from virtually any IPS matrix. I rather doubt that there would be any difference between them when it comes to affecting vision fatigue. In other words - it is not worth it.
