Hello, I have a problem with the keyboard in the laptop. Exactly that the tab key went out, with Win 8.1 I used sharpkeys or keytwek and swapped it with another key without any problem, but yesterday I updated the system to 10 and the changes disappeared. the above mentioned programs stopped working at 10, so I tried a tool from Microsoft, i.e. MS Keyboard layout Creator and it keeps throwing me an error:
    CL.EXE returned 1
    RC.EXE returned 1
    LINK.EXE returned 1
I would not like to go back to wines 8.1 to fix it, and I will not replace the keyboard for one button. Anyone know the solution to the problem? In addition, I can only add that the program sharpkeys or KeyTwek adds entries to the registry under the path: Computer \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Keyboard Layout but the system probably does not load them later because the keys do not change.

I can test them, but they probably won't help because, as I wrote, the previous programs add an entry to the registry correctly, the problem is that the system probably doesn't read it and doesn't change the keys.

I installed it out of curiosity link on my Windows 10 laptop and assigned a TAB to the [Q] button - it works fine.
The attachment is the registry file.

The only difference is that I made the changes from the built-in administrator account.
