Hello . I decided on one of the laptops to change W7 to W10 (W7 original with a sticker).

I go to a well-known portal and what do I see? A lot of key offers for little money, offering a legal product.

Tell me, how is this legality really? Will the key for less than PLN 50 make my computer have a legal system ??

The topic is the most serious, if the mod moves to the appropriate department it is good.

I do not know the source of these keys, but the original Windows 10 costs several hundred zlotys, so these keys are some fake. Probably after a few months this system will deactivate.
And as for Windows 10, you can still update Windows 7 to Windows 10:

It is true that it is supposedly directed to people who use narrator or magnifier tools, but it is not verified in any way and you can easily update this method with Windows 7 to Windows 10 :)

The offer is valid until December 31, 2017. Please use it before this date.

And complain like many, many others. System can not be reversed. I did not download it for free, and the more I pay it, at least I do not have any problems with those who installed W10.

I do not know about windows, but I have an office package with Ebay keys and it's been working for several months. The previous ones have stopped working after replacing the motherboard, i.e. the OEM version. The key cost is 3% of the package value.

If I update the system to 10, I understand that it activates automatically.
If after this update I download the W10 image and install it cleanly (it's about UEFI) and I give the W7 key, the activation will pass without a problem?

After many installations, I have the opinion that it is better to install W10 cleanly and not to upgrade to Win7. The key with Windows 7 can be easily activated Windows 10, but apparently only until the end of this year.
Before installation it is also better to check if there are suitable drivers available for your equipment, because it happens differently.

Are you sure about it 100%?

I succeeded, and not once. The first versions - the oldest W10 actually did instalke on Windows 7, and after activating the format c: and again the pure Win10 installation. The currently available versions have been installed on a clean disk and either I have given the Win7 key from my hand or the W10 itself has activated (the key has already been saved in UEFI / BIOS).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the legitimacy of purchasing low-cost Windows 10 activation keys, particularly those priced under 50 PLN, in the context of upgrading from Windows 7. Users express skepticism about the authenticity of these keys, suggesting they may be counterfeit and could lead to system deactivation after a short period. Some participants recommend utilizing the free upgrade option from Windows 7 to Windows 10, which is still available until the end of 2017, and emphasize the importance of checking for compatible drivers before installation. There are also mentions of successfully activating Windows 10 using a Windows 7 key after a clean installation, with some users confirming that the activation process can work seamlessly if the key is saved in UEFI/BIOS.
